The Mad Hatter
Alice in Wonderland- is a classic fantastic movie. The animation is phenomenal like with all disney classic animation movies. The story is excellent. The charcters are really intresting. I love this movie like with other disney classic animation movies.
The Plot: When Alice (Kathryn Beaumont), a restless young British girl, falls down a rabbit hole, she enters a magical world. There she encounters an odd assortment of characters, including the grinning Cheshire Cat (Sterling Holloway) and the goofy Mad Hatter (Ed Wynn). When Alice ends up in the court of the tyrannical Queen of Hearts (Verna Felton), she must stay on the ruler's good side -- or risk losing her head.
I had a good time rewatching this movie and so will you if you have the chance.

A complex and ambitious movie documenting several interconnected stories about the drug trade. Steven Soderbergh’s style is almost documentary like (plenty of shaky cam) and I liked his use of blue and yellow filters illustrating the different stories . Personally I found the film a bit overlong and some of the cartel storyline a bit draggy and convoluted. The film is more successful when showing the human side of drug addiction and I particularly enjoyed the storyline documenting the daughter of a senior politician tasked with tackling drug trafficking descending into addiction. Michael Douglas performance here was excellent and quite moving and definitely the standout amongst the ensemble cast. So a very impressive movie for its scope and scale, not all of it works but what does works very well.

This is an excellent movie all around. I was fascinated by the story itself, and thought they did a terrific job of putting it to film. The race scenes are thrilling, and it's fun watching them build the cars. Christian Bale and Matt Damon work so well together. Caitriona Balfe is amazing as Mollie Miles. Jon Bernthal did a great Lee Iacocca. Josh Lucas has clearly been typecast as the douchebag, which he does very well here as Leo Beebe. Tracy Letts is a perfect Henry Ford II. Granted, 2.5 hours is a bit long, but it holds up throughout so that it doesn't really feel that long. Probably the best movie I've seen in a while, and definitely the best racing movie I've seen in a long time. đźš—đźš—

A powerful story of two sisters
The Last Confession of Autumn Casterly hooked me from the first chapter. The sisters Ivy and Autumn lost their mother to cancer three years ago, and their father has remarried. Ivy is a nerd girl band geek and Autumn is the “bad girl”, dealing drugs and getting into trouble. They barely communicate, but when Autumn is kidnapped, Ivy knows something is very wrong and does not give up on Autumn despite others assuming that Autumn’s disappearance is just due to her own bad behavior. This book is a well written thriller with excellent characters, and skillfully explores the bond between the sisters, friendships, and families. The author also examines how girls’ lives are valued less than those of boys. It was hard to put down and thought provoking.

What we have here is another winner from Mr Sinclair and yet another off my to-be-read pile!
Having recently read the first in the series, "Dance With The Enemy", I admit to being a little nervous as to whether this instalment was going to be as good however, I needn't have worried .... this is just as good and had been hooked from start to finish.
With loads of action and suspense, fantastic characters and excellent story, this is a riveting spy thriller and one I would highly recommend. This is the second in the series and although not absolutely essential, I would recommend you read the first ... believe me, you won't be disappointed.
