Bonded (Law of the Lycans #1) by Nicky Charles
This book has been languishing on my Kindle since April 2013, but I've finally got round to reading it, and I'm currently kicking myself for waiting so long!

This is an excellent story that shows the work it takes to keep wolves from the humans' radar, but also how some wolves think they are better than others, and what they do to them. And in the middle of it all, we have Reno and Brandi - a couple that surely belong together if only they would stop being so stubborn.

Well written, with some steamy scenes that in no way take away from the story. A smooth pace and an intricate storyline. I'm about to start Betrayed now as I am hooked on this world. Absolutely recommended by me.

Get Out (2017)
Get Out (2017)
2017 | Horror, Thriller
Like "Black Mirror" does "Cocoon"
This film sees Chris visiting his girlfriend's parents for the first time, on what turns out to be their annual get-together with friends and neighbours. Chris is somewhat taken aback by everyone's positive, curious reaction to his African-American heritage and becomes increasingly unnerved by the odd behaviour of the family's black servants.
I have to admit, I saw the twist coming from very early on but this didn't ruin the journey for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the creepy atmosphere building throughout the film and Chris' increasingly awkward interactions with his few fellow people of colour at the party.
This is not a normal horror film, except for the final half hour, instead it is an intense psychological thriller with the added social awkwardness around people's inherent racism and need to talk/not talk about it.
An excellent film with a brilliant cast.

Pretty Decent Adaptation
The best element of the Assassin's Creed film adaptation has to be the fight choreography. It was so skilfully done to the best of the choreographers', stunt doubles', and actors' abilities, and it paid off. The casting choices were also commendable as Michael Fassbender was the perfect choice for the leading role of Cal and I am unable to picture anyone else playing that role. But I have to admit, the plotline and the writing weren't up to modern film standards; meaning they completely fell through. I love this film, but if it was written better with a much better plotline, it would not go into the 'bad film adaptation' pile. Overall, I wouldn't call this an award-winning film, but it is very entertaining to watch and the fight scenes are incredible.

This film is atmospheric. It feels like it was written as a US film, something like Wrong Turn or Deliverance, but as this would be seen as having been done it was moved to the Scottish highlands. We follow two school friends reuniting for a hunting trip (as a Scotsman who knows nobody who has ever hunted or owns a rifle I found this odd) to the highlands. On their first, hungover, trip into the woods something goes wrong and their decisions made from then on land them in trouble with the locals.
The last half hour really dragged and could have been wrapped up so much quicker.
All in all, this feels like Deliverance meets the Wicker Man but while there are moments of excellence (the cinematography is excellent, and that first hunting scene is a real hard hitter) the pacing is all wrong.

Great value for money
Really impressed with this handset. I was going to get the Huawei P20 Pro but the Honor 10 is half the price! Ok the P20 Pro is still premium out of the two, but I really cannot justify paying double the price. The Honor 10 is excellent value for money. The AI camera is great, especially for photos of pets! The battery life is also pretty good. It is slightly smaller and the screen is thinner than what i'm used to, but all in all it's a great android phone. Would 100% recommend to anybody. Especially to people who are considering the P20 as opposed to the P20 Pro as this is on par with the normal P20. The colour choices are also beautiful. I love my blue purple Twilight edition!

This one is definitely gonna stick in my head for some time. Now I've decided on a rating I'm gonna have to think hard about an upcoming review...as I have no idea where to start.

The sign of a truly excellent book IMO is that it will stay with you for a long time after you have read it and this is certainly one of those books. It was, in many ways, a perfect read for me. My reasons are that it is dark, disturbing, vile, twisted, extreme, evil and just plain disgusting...I loved it. This is a very well written, original story about good vs evil and about the deepest, darkest secrets hidden in the minds of those around us. I'm so glad I picked this up from the library, it sounded like my sort of thing and it certainly was.

Funny, I mean very funny the total premise of the film is amusing and it plays on it alot (2 more)
Story is quite good and characters go on quite an arc
Supporting characters are excellent and are probably what keeps the film going and make it enjoyable
Probably plays on the honour a bit too much which makes the action take a back seat. (1 more)
Film takes quite a while to get going
Good but not brilliant
In the past comic book movies could be deemed as being to serious(batman) but this has changed recently with films like deaspool. Shazam going down this approach with this film being basically a comedy the action takes a back seat. To me the film relays too much on the houmor but the supporting cast and good story make the film quite enjoyable although it does take a little while to get going

Addictive
Started Detroit become human after finishing studying for the year... played it through over the space of 2 weeks a couple of hours every other night so it's not the longest game, BUT it is addictive, thought provoking and you find yourself really rooting for your characters even though at times they are pitted against each other. The map that shows percentages is interesting too as you see what other players chose. Your characters are not safe from a sticky end btw so choose wisely! My ending was played by 3% of other players and I would play again to get a different ending. Would recommend!
The digital deluxe version also comes with a copy of heavy rain which is also worth a play but worth playing that before Detroit as the graphics do not compare.

The only reason I saw this movie was because a friend wanted to go to it. I wasn't really interested in it. There's a weird, cult-like thing going on with Mister Rogers (much like RBG), which I don't really get, and that's probably why this movie got made so quickly after the documentary.

Mister Rogers wasn't really the main character, the main character is a rando reporter named Lloyd. Mister Rogers basically helps the dude get through stuff. Some of it's kind of trippy, and a little depressing. Tom Hanks does well as Mister Rogers, and Matthew Rhys is really entertaining as Lloyd.

Honestly, this was a movie that wasn't strictly necessary, when the excellent documentary exists. If you're part of the cult of Mister Rogers, you'll probably love it. I, on the other hand, a casual fan of the dude thought it was good, but not mind-blowing.

Get The Honey
Winnie the Pooh is one of my all time favorite charcters from disney. He is such a excellent charcter, with a great personality. He loves his friends, he loves his honey and of course his honey. Did i mention his honey. I think i did im not sure. So much honey.

The Plot: Sebastian Cabot narrates the adventures of bumbling bear Winnie the Pooh as he battles a nest of vicious bees over a trove of honey, weathers a terrible wind storm and endures the foibles of the hyperactive tiger Tigger, all while singing and bumbling his way through the Hundred Acre Wood. Kanga, Piglet, Owl, Rabbit and Eeyore round out the menagerie in this trio of animated tales adapted from A.A. Milne's celebrated series of children's books.

I also love Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore.

A classic movie, with adorable and lovely charcters.
