Three girls held a deep, dark secret. Three girls made a promise they vowed to keep forever. Now something and someone is threatening that promise. Will the truth come out or will these women do anything possible to keep their secret hidden forever?
I found this to be an excellent psychological suspense story. Some may describe this as a slow burn but I found the pace to be perfect for this story. The characters build and grow with the story as does the plot as told from past to present. The ending you won't see coming.
The are loads of little hints dropped through the story and some are just red herrings to keep you guessing. I found myself totally absorbed and unable to put the story down til done.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this psychological story with all it's dark twists and turns!

Full of well developed characters
Very believable
If I had been a teenager in the 80s I’m sure I would be absolutely loved the constant references to familiar games, but the 90s was my decade so a great deal went straight over my head. That said the future envisioned by the author is compelling and if I may say, utterly frightening. To not have any future in the real world and to only live in a virtual reality is my worst nightmare come to life. I enjoy playing games but having it BE my life is a step too far. The level of despair I could feel in the book was fascinating. The characters and plot were well developed, believable and realistic. By the time I put this book down, though satisfied with the ending I was relieved to get back to the real world.

I picked up the first book as I loved History and the first one includes many different people from modern History like Hitler and Stalin. I loved the ridculousness of history being told through the main character and how they fit in.
I think the reason I do not like this one as much is because it deals with politics today (which bores me easily) and ends up being a politcal opinion piece instead of a piece of entertainment.
Even though I still enjoyed it I dud not have as much fun as the previous.
If you like books that do not take much seriously and have perculiar writing style then definately get this book. The poltical aspects are still sprinkled with the same humour the first book had.

I've been looking forward to this one since it was announced. While I know the story is being told from Liz's perspective, I have to admit I found it strange that we didn't get to see any of the murders being committed by one of the most famous serial killers of all time. It's an interesting take on a story most people already know.
Zac Efron was excellent, as was the rest of the cast (Jim Parsons can do no wrong), but the movie does drag just a bit, and I feel like some of Efron's talent is wasted here. They definitely could have done more with him. That said, he was the perfect mix of creepy and charming, and when they show the actual Bundy footage during the end credits, you realize how close Efron's performance comes to the actual man.
Overall I thought it was good, but could maybe have been better.
Oh, and also? I'll never be mad at Zac Efron's....backside. ?

A true story of survival
What a film! What a story! And it's based on real events! I was absolutely mesmerised.
This is a film about survival, strength, extreme bravery, selflessness, the sheer will to stay alive and the risks "normal" people will take to save one man in the face of the brutality of not only the terrain and weather but also of the Nazi's hunting him.
Excellent acting, stunning visuals and cinematography; this film had my bum firmly planted for all of its 135 minutes.
I know some people don't like watching films with subtitles, but please, please don't let that put you off; there isn't a massive amount of dialogue as what is spoken is not the draw of this film.
How accurate it really is, I don't know but if only half of it is close to the truth then I would still be in awe.
Definitely recommended viewing.

The characterization is excellent, the storytelling first class and the final reveal is kept for the very last page.
Can't wait to see what Steve Cavanagh comes up with next; definitely a book I would recommend reading.

Excellent expansion
Out of all of the expansions for TM so far, this is probably the easiest to incorporate, but the most game-changing. With each corporation having additional variables from how they were funded, it is possible to get some really, really specialised resource synchronisation, butnequally it is possible to turn a corporation which excels at one resource into a much more generalist, and gain boosts to several.
For some of the Prelude cards, they appear to be are a bit of a "dud", but sometimes getting a boost of a few Titanium right at the start can be a massive advantage, whereas others having an increase in Tree production can be a game winner. I have found that the main factor in success is still the Corporatation, but the Prelude cards certainly turn some of the "easy" Corps up a few notches, and can turn some of the "advanced" ones up to 11!

Some of the best Trek
Deep Space 9 is almost the Marmite of Star Trek. You (generally) either love it or you hate it; however, unlike Marmite, it is absolutely possible to love or hate whole seasons of DS9.
Personally, Season 1 and Season 2 are generally pretty poor. A few good episodes, and a chunk of character development goes some way to making it, but it isn't really until part way through Season 3 and even into Season 4, with wars against the Klingons, the Cardassians, the Marquis, and ultimately the Dominion, that it really takes off. And even then, it's probably seasons 5-7 which are actually excellent (although there are some "meh" episodes).
Some of the story arcs take several episodes to really have an impact, but when they do have an impact, they really get you - whether its disbelief, or sadness, or adreneline, the season-long arcs introduce a totally new method of watching Trek.
Personally, Season 1 and Season 2 are generally pretty poor. I received an ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I am a lover of historical fiction and love anything paranormal so this story was one I was much anticipating so here goes.
Our heroine Eliza Robinson is sent to stay with her Aunt Mauve in the puritan community of Maybrook.
She comes to escape gossip after a refusal of marriage to her fathers business partner Mr. Thomas Beesly.
Eliza hears ghostly voices and later that night her aunt is murdered in her bed leading our Eliza on an adventure of ghosts murder romance and an old Journal belonging to Helena the deceased mother of our hero Jonathan Porter who supposedly drowned when Jon was a child.
I could say a lot more about this book but don't want to spoil it for anyone needless to say it was an excellent read and i really enjoyed it i do so love a happy ending give it a try you wont be disappointed.

Excellent story line of what could of happened if the USA didn't win world war 2. (1 more)
I love the unexpected plot twists that keep you on your toes and wanting to see what happens next.
Great story line of what ifs
Not for children. It may give them nightmares and since child can take things literally, they may not fully understand the fact that it's a fictional show depicting a different life had things of been different during world war 2
Great for history buff though and theologists and philosophers as this covers both and asks, what if things didn't end well for the USA?
