A varied range of stories with differing degrees of success. There are 10 tales that cover the range of horror from urban legends, comedy, gore, Grimm fairy tales and many othe horror tropes. As with most anthologies the stories are short and sharp with the plot of each story being apparent quite quickly and there are a few twists and turns that keep you guessing.

There is enough in the collection to make you look out at the dark corners of your room a little bit more nervously and I will never look at a pumpkin the same way again.

Do you believe that the kind of love which truly sees a person belongs only in fairy tales?

My upcoming contemporary romance, Only in Fairy Tales, follows Nia (53) and Gareth (57) as they cross paths at Monmouth Castle and realise it is never too late for a second chance at love. It is a slow-burn, fade-to-black story full of emotional depth.

The book launches on December 9, and I am currently building my Advanced Review Copy (ARC) team! Digital copies will be sent out in late September / early October, and reviews will be due around launch day.

If you love mature, tender romance and have time to read and review this autumn, I would be so incredibly grateful for your support.

Thank you so much, everyone! 💙

Glorious
This is one of those smaller films you expect little from and end up being pleasantly surprised. Yes you need to take it with a pinch of salt as it is about trolls, but it's a really interesting modern take on the old fairy tales. The effects are surprisingly good, it's darkly funny with some good bits of gore thrown in. All in all, a great take on the mockumentary.
