Fleetwoods pregnancy progresses further than she’s ever carried before, with the help of Alice. However, in the world of novels, things never quite run smoothly and soon Alice stands accused of witchcraft. As Fleetwood despairs for the fate of her friend she soon finds herself in a desperate situation and the only way for both women to survive is to uncover a few dark secrets.
This was such an easy read, the story flowed so smoothly and the characters were very engaging. I particularly liked how the character of Fleetwoods husband, Richard, was written. As throughout the whole book you’re finding yourself changing your mind as to the type of person he is, and I still don’t really know if he is what I would class as a ‘good’ person.

Lindsay (1760 KP) rated The Proctor Hall Horror (The Bayou Hauntings #7) in Books
Oct 21, 2020
Did Noah slay his whole family or did someone else? You will be guessing and trying to figure it all out until the last page. This book does have quite a horror to it. I do not read many Horror genre books. This one has me wanting more from this author and this series.
I am into paranormal shows and ghosts. This one does have quite a few deaths with a bit of chilling to it. Not a lot that it could be creepy. Though what happens in Proctor Hall seems quite scary terrifying, though I am not scared much. This one had me more.
This has it all, murder, mystery, ghosts, and hauntings. There is even a bit more. What will happen to Noah and others? What secrets does Proctor Hall hold? Good for those that are looking for a Halloween book for themselves. This book is set with it all for those that are looking for ghosts, hauntings, mystery and so much more.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Summoned to Thirteenth Grave (Charley Davidson, #13) in Books

Hmm... I did enjoy this but I do feel like the series has not been fully completed. There's still the whole Beep facing Lucifer thing and where did Osh disappear to?
Nevertheless, this was once again full of Charley craziness and I do love her and her gang of friends. There were several mysteries thrown in to the mix for her to solve including one to do with her birth, secrets came out of the woodwork and a few little shocks thrown in too.
I can't say I'm disappointed with how the author finished this series... I just feel it hasn't been fully ended as mentioned above.
