Genuinely Bizarre in the Best Way
I came into this movie with no idea what to expect and boy was it an interesting one! The characters, the plot, the special effects...I have never seen such an interesting movie! Seriously! It starts out in the grungy 1800s, and ends up in this fantastical sci-fi fantasy that just took my breath away. I highly recommend to any fantasy or sci-fi lover, an epic film.

Great fantasy film
A very enjoyable film, that is well directed and has all round good production levels. It's almost like two films in one running side by side. It would have been a bit more interesting to see more of the fantasy characters and their world in which they live in. The film can be quite bloody and violent at times to which was a surprise, this is definitely for an adult audience.

My first Dragon love
These are as traditional as epic fantasy gets. If you want to see every trope fantasy has to offer, this is the series for you. This is the very beginning of a world that includes generations of characters, side books to explore the origins of favorite characters and races, role playing games, podcasts, a rich history of world building, gods and magic, dragons and orcs, Dwarfs and elves and other things.

"I’m going to throw The Goonies in there, because as a kid, that was just the ultimate fantasy. That was every kid’s fantasy. I watched it over and over and over. The fact that they slid through the rocks, and she’s playing the bone piano, and all that kind of stuff. You’re like, “What? Is this really happening?” And it never gets old. I saw it recently with my daughter, and I was still into it."
