I like the I really like the idea as a simple overall rating is good but it’s the granular look that helps form that. When I see a three star rating on amazon as example, I usually look to the breakdown to give me some more info. Is it a lot of people very polarized on the review? Lots of fives and ones? Or is it a true middle ground review generally across the board? That granularity helps inform quickly!

How does one get into the iOS feedback group? I noticed it’s closed, but there are several issues I want to bring up with how SB looks and feels on an iPhoneX if they haven’t already been brought up.

Hi all,

Please use this Orb for any iOS app feedback.

If you could include the device you are using, and screenshots in your reports, that would be ultra-helpful!

Also, please make sure you're using the current version prior to reporting.

Thanks 😊

LISTS: PERSONAL VS PUBLIC

FEEDBACK REQUIRED: how interesting/valuable is the current lists page? Should it be the domain of 'pure' public-interest lists only?

DETAILS:
We are assessing the lists that currently appear on the public LISTS page. We have taken the view that the lists there may have to be assessed with all lists that aren't necessarily of public interest moved back to a non-shared status (so they don't appear on the public LISTS page).

For example, do other people really want to see another users 'books I've read this year' list? Would appreciate your feedback on this!

The workflow for this would be:

1. Advise all users to adjust the status of their lists from 'shared to the public lists page' to 'probably not, but let others see it' if they perceive them to be personal lists.

2. Then, we will assess the shared lists and force the status of any that we receive not to be of public value.

Would appreciate feedback from the Smashbomb Council prior to action being taken... 🙂

I would create fun lists more often if they didn't get buried within all the read and watched lists. I don't think those are relevant to everyone.

To be honest, I tend not to even notice the lists. And I've only made one myself, which I forget about more often than not. Sorry!

Gray noise. In a sort of interesting way.
Not quite white noise, but the whole thing is literally processed feedback. I had the brilliant idea to put this onto sleep to. I had really vivid nightmares that were actually pretty inspiring. May have use as background noise or to sleep to if you have a creative block.

Another issue. When I scroll down through my notifications (from the little notification bell in the bar at the top of the app), the notifications don't move but the main screen does.

Also, I had 0 app alerts outside the app and 17 inside it today. This relates to my last post about notifications.

Feedback anyone?

Fixed scroll issue.

Android doesn't support badge number officially. It depends on the manufacturer: the launcher counts the notifications of the app in the status bar and updates the badge number. And not all notifications are sent to users (e.g kudos notifications), so the badge number on android users will not be updated correctly (works correctly on iOS). I'm researching other ways to fix this. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for the update! I did notice the scroll function is working correctly now, which I appreciate. Keep up the good work!

NEED FEEDBACK - ORB LEADERBOARD

Hey Influencers! We're loving the idea of adding Orbs to the Leaderboard section of Smashbomb :)

We want to hear your opinions on how the Orbs should rank in the Leaderboard

i.e.
  -by activity,
  -by followers/members etc.

We're open to any ideas on how to improve the activity and popularity of new orbs!

Activity is probably a good way to organize

I agree, ranked by activity makes the most sense.
