I always liked science based things and read this purely due to the Ebola theme. The science bits were well explained and the fact that this is a true story, yet reads as fiction, and could even happen again makes it a scarily good read.

Thsi had an array of complex characters. Not only were the main characters deep and layered but the secondary were as well. If you love science fiction and character driven stories this is a must read. Also some of the sex scenes are kinda hot.

"I’m thinking of a bunch of gangster films I’d like to include, like Bronx Tale is a particular favourite, but my final choice is Pulp Fiction. It’s a film I never get bored watching. It’s shocking, it’s stylised, it’s clever and the soundtrack is kickass."

Book Favorite

"I love all of Sarah Waters’ historical fiction but this is my favorite novel, set during and after WWII. It starts slow but picks up insane momentum, using reverse narration to follow the characters backward in time to the explosive wartime scenes that shaped them."

In this collection of eight short stories, Shankman tells the tales of Włodawa during WW2, uniting fact and fiction with a smattering of magical realism. Find out more about this lovely collection in my review here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2016/02/23/wlodawas-wars/
