The historical fiction series flashes back for the first of a trilogy about the birth of Yeshua. Powerful even if you already know the ending.

Meh. Much more romance than anything else. I like more weird in my fantasy, a whole lot more science in my science fiction. There's no reason at all this couldn't have been set in the modern day, and it fits the whole RWA formula to a tee.

I found this book to be absolutely thrilling. Alex's endeavors to do good were well portrayed. I also got some Matrix feelings from the Science Fiction element. However, I feel like the drug abuse and sex was a bit over done. This book was still very good.

Not just an analysis or a rather gruesome murder, but a wider look at the social context of the times and the role of the detective in fact and in fiction.

Personally, I enjoyed this, but thought The Wicked Boy by the same author was even better.

This is a slow burn romance set after the end of the world. The way the two main characters meet and how their relationship develops makes this a different spin on the typical dystopian novel. This will appeal to both fans of post apocalyptic and lesbian fiction.

This novel is junior fiction. I enjoyed the story, but not as much as some others that I've read along the same line. However, it is still a good, suspenseful read for kids looking for something that's got more grit than the regular old happy novels.
