Very satisfied with this read. I didn't think I would like it at first glance on account of the way the store had the book cataloged as 'superhero fiction' or something to that affect. After reading the book I can safely say the time it took me to read it was time well spent.

This was an amazing debut by Char Dafoe! It is a raw and edgy story with a pretty badass main charcter. The plot mores along nicely and any flaws will be worked out with experince. Everyone needs to give this new face in the lesbian fiction scene a read. Trust me you will love Rae!

Not so much science fiction as it is science fantasy, this novel pretty much proves the old matra that you can't judge a cover by it's (in this case, dodgy) cover. Not the best book I've ever read, not even the best by Simon Green, but still worth a look if you like space opera.

Incredible
This book, for me is the greatest story I have ever read. There are pieces of it that we have seen on TV or read in books, however every emotion is touched in this book, its a true epic and one for everybody who loves fiction in any format to read

"In Thomas Mann's novella Death in Venice, a great writer is as endangered by his repressed passions as he is by the cholera plague. I was a young fiction writer who wanted to be an artist at what I did. Why wouldn't I be interested, as Mann was, in the nature of the artist?"
