This book is ****ing epic!
The unique format and the eventful plot are just part of the reasons that make Illuminae an incredible reading.
The struggle of the cold logic of an AI that tries to stay true to its core programming but still finds itself evolving, trying to grasp human nature, even feeling emotions that it cannot completely understand (envy, rage, love, fear) reaches peaks that have something of the lyric typical of literary fiction shelf.
And this is just one of the plot line!
I can't wait to find out what's next.

Amanda Harvey Purse what can I say amazing I loved this book and I'm not just saying that.
The story line jumps between the years 1888 and 1889 the place London your hosts for this intriguing murder mystery are Mary Kelly the fifth Jack the Ripper victim and Thomas Dunn a writer and I'm not telling you any more because you really should read this book. There is so much I could tell but won't all you need to know is that Amanda has mixed alot facts relating to the Jack the Ripper case amongst fiction to create a great story.

The Struggle Is Real
Generally when someone in the board game community talks about a “thematic” game, there is a particular archetype they’re referring to–the science fiction or fantasy themed game with minis, elaborate artwork, and the promise of action, narrative, and adventure. Twilight Struggle does not look this kind of game. It’s set in the Cold War, has a functional but not flashy art design, and provides cardboard chits instead of plastic miniatures. However, Twilight Struggle is perhaps the most thematic game ever made.

One of those books I wanted to really love going in, because there just isn't much lesbian fiction out there, and what is out there, well most of it really isn't that good. This book was actually pretty well-written and quite compelling -- I blew through it about 2 or 3 days -- though I was a bit dejected that the main (lesbian) character was a murderer (don't worry, that's not a spoiler). If it's a not cheesy lesbian romance, us gays must be murderers and crazy people. Still, the tale was interesting and quite beautiful, at times, in a weird, melancholy way.

For a more contemporary fiction feel to the book, I actually enjoyed it.
This was a slower book than I normally pick up. I had to read it for one of my classes, but it was pretty interesting. It was cool to be able to see the overlapping instances from chapter to chapter and even be able to see those same kind of overlaps in the past and present sections.
The characters didn't have anything particularly likable to them, but they were so well written that I didn't care that I didn't overly like them as people.

This is an incredibly moving piece of fiction that anyone who loves reading owes it to themselves to check out. Telling the story of a young German boy and a young, blind French girl over the course of World War II; Anthony Doerr weaves together themes of the horrors of war, the love of one's family, and the beauty that exists in the world around us and within ourselves. The story moves forward at a quick pace and all of the characters will remain with you long after the story is over. Simply put: this is a beautiful book.

It’s not something I would read but I received this eBook in the February Fresh Fiction Book Box and this is the first book I decided to start and I loved it. The perfect amount of humor from some of the ghosts and I love the developing friendship between P.I. Melissa Kennedy and Detective Daniel Forrester they make a great team which I can see is going to turn to romance further in the series I just hope I don’t have to wait too long for the second book which is out sometime in the summer.

Wow.
Without reiterating the story line all I will say is that this is a good read. If this author cannot bring a tear to your eye- or at the very least- pull on your heartstrings you have no soul lol.
I don't think I could have read this book at a more appropriate time in my life-- I tend to always take something away from Sparks' books that help enlighten a situation in mine or a loved-ones life. I have learned a great many lessons throughout his fiction.
He is by far one of the great storytellers of our time.

I bought this book while on holiday in Queensland because I had finished my other one, I am a huge YA fan, and it was relatively inexpensive. I am so glad that I did. I pretty much devoured the novel over the course of one day because I was so hooked. Besides being minorly predictable to those of us who have read their fair share of YA fiction, Holland did an excellent job of blending just the right amount of romance and adventure to keep me wanting to read more. I can't wait to read the next book.
