Oh WOW This book was simply amazing!
I have not read very many books by Amy Clipston but this one was Great. Such a compelling story about listening to what God has for you even though it is hard and you do not always have support. God uses these times to grow us and show us the way we are suppose to go. A truly great read that made my heart happy ! I highly recommend getting this book into your hands!
I volunteered to read this book from Zondervan Fiction in exchange for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

History, huh? Bet we could make some
OKAYYYYY
I knew I would love this book before I even opened it. It just has everything I love about fiction and I love both Alex and Henry and it was ever so happy, and if you know me you know I LOVE happy.
Don't get me wrong I did love this and I absorbed it and couldn't put it down but there were just a few little things that I didn't love which is what's holding me off on giving it the 5-star rating I really wanted to give it but it's still definitely my favourite book I've read this year.

i think this book and me just met at the wrong time because when I finally got I to this I did really enjoy it however it took me a FRICKING long time to get into it. I was in a YA rut and this was the first non YA book that I read in a LONG time and I just don't think I was ready for the world of adult fiction again but this book honestly was so well written and such an uplifting story it just didn't agree with me right now but I would like to give it another chance but for now it's a no

The Colorado Gold Rush of the late 1880s both made and broke many people. Among them was Horace Tabor. But the jewel in Tabor's crown wasn't one of his mines, it was the woman he fell in love with, known as "Baby Doe". This biographical, historical, women’s fiction novel is about how Elizabeth McCourt from Oshkosh WI goes to Colorado as Harvey Doe's young bride, and how she ends up as "Baby Doe Tabor". You can read my #bookreview of "Gold Digger: The Remarkable Baby Doe Tabor" by Rebecca Rosenberg on my blog now! https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2019/10/31/marriages-of-the-mines/
