Landmark film
A landmark film for Hollywood that has a great significance for the industry.
To the film and I did worry it might not quite live up to the hype. Thankfully I can say it is a very good film for many reasons. It has some great action scenes, Sfx, for the suit especially. Also featuring a strong complex villain and with some funny moments. One of the better stand alone character films from the MCU.

Story (Some parts)
A good, but underwhelming sequel.
A good film, an expansion to the Potterverse, providing more background the beloved wizarding world of Harry Potter.
While the first film in this series was good, this film contained more nods to characters from the Harry Potter saga, which added absolutely nothing to the story, not so far anyway.
A good film, with some impressive acting from Johnny Depp, though not overly memorable overall.

Guilty of being a terrible film
Another film to avoid on Netflix. Hoped this would be some sort of creepy film set at a boarding school. Not scary or suspenseful at all. Really feels like a cheap made for TV film. Plot is so simple but the films drags so much it feels twice as long. Hoped for better when I saw Kelly Reilly in the cast. Do not add to your watch list!

Good action scenes
Decent action/heist film
The trailer for Netflix most recent own film had me sold. Looking like a Special forces heist film with all guns blazing. Sadly it isn't quite like that for the duration of the film. It takes a while to build up to the action and then it's more about the escape. Which has little action until the end of the film. The action scenes are good though. If you were hoping for a mix of Heat with the Expendables then this isn't it. It does pose some brief issues on a deeper level about ex-forces personnel and morals, friendship but only a little. Always good to hear some Metallica blasting out in a film though.

Exceptional fun
After seeing Bohemian Rhapsody only a few months ago, I had quite high hopes for the film seeing as it was directed by the same director who (unofficially) took over for the director of Rhapsody and boy did the film deliver. A fun filled film with loads of toe tapping music and an intriguing story to go along with it.
Fairly cheesy in parts but it's to be expected when it's a film about Elton John. Also it felt more of a musical than bohemian Rhapsody which took me put of the film and made it feel almost fake at times.
Perfect for the West End or Broadway but a fun film nonetheless.

Recaptured the spirit/feel of the first film
Even though I don't quite think it was as good as the original film, I do highly rate this as a top quality sequel that lives up to the potential it always promised.
Ryan Reynolds is perfect to play Wade Wilson/Deadpool and both the first film and this film totally redeems the character from the shambles that was Wolverine Origins.
The entire cast is brilliant and the cameos that feature blew me away.
I kept away from spoilers before watching the film and one character that features completely blew me away as I thought he wouldn't appear.
Overall this is a great film and well worth a watch if you haven't already!

I've delayed writing this because I am still trying to fully process this film.
The film was a bizarre, enjoyable fever dream. Who was gaslighting who? Who was actually the reliable narrator? The mythology used in the film was so fitting, down to the fate of the characters. I loved that the film was in black and white, and not in widescreen format.
Robert Pattinson was terrific in this, and always proves that he can actually act. Willem Dafoe's character was one of those slightly annoying but kind of likeable dudes.
I think the best part of seeing this film, is that I'm still trying to process it. Was this a black comedy? A horror film? It's definitely all up for debate.
