How little they renew films (2 more)
They don't have classics on there
The price is a little steep
We have Netflix connected to our TV and phones, which is a god send. We often download programmes and films for long journeys which is a bonus. The only things I do struggle with is the fact that they don't often renew the films so we often go over to now TV and its getting so expensive. It's hiked massively since we first started using it. But we cannot justify the 5.99 a month just for the 1 device so alas, we continue to pay

Not quite a treasure
I wasn't a big fan of the original films, slightly preferred the 2nd film. This is quite a good reboot film as Lara starts her journey as a Tomb Raider. It has some good action scenes and some puzzle scenes, not that many the viewer could try to solve though.
The main down side is it felt a bit like too many other films. Part Indiana Jones and the last crusade, National Treasure to name a couple of films with a similar plot. Overall it's an enjoyable action film and a good footing for the next film.

Kathryn Bigelow recommended Mean Streets (1973) in Movies (curated)

Mean Streets (1973)
Mean Streets (1973)
1973 | Classics, Drama

"…and then [in Mean Streets], Robert De Niro; his kind of twitchy reverence to this wonderfully insane underworld. Somehow, the two [films] will always be forever linked in my mind. Whoever programmed those two movies together… it was at a moment when, in an art context, I was beginning to make short films. So film was definitely becoming a medium that was intriguing to me, and I hadn’t quite made a complete transition yet, but I found those two films just extraordinary, and they opened up a kind of unimaginable landscape for me. That kind of great irreverence, and intensity, and strength of purpose in those characters."

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
1975 | Comedy, Drama

"The films that I like aren’t necessarily because they’re good films in themselves — One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a good film — but that one specifically meant a lot to me. Not because I was in a mental home or anything, but that character influenced me so much when I was 15 or 16, and bits of it stuck with me. A lot of that kind of “putting your middle finger up to the world” attitude — not that I really have that, but…I used to be so timid, and that was one of those films that [helped me break out], by pretending to be [Jack Nicholson’s character] Randle."

Zemeckis before he decided to make more serious films. Not to say those aren't good, they just weren't nearly as fun as this and still amazing filmmaking.
