Ellen and Andy have been married for exactly 100 days when she sees, for the first time in 8 years, her ex-boyfriend Leo. She agrees to meet him at a nearby cafe and the emotions that start to resurface...
Shortly after this chance encounter, Leo contacts Ellen to do the photos for an article about singer Drake Winters. Unbeknownst to Ellen, Leo is the one who is writing this article and happens to be at the shoot. Will this chance encounter lead to something new? Will she finally get the closure she has been looking for? Being married for less than a year, will she give it all up to discover what might have been?

Emily Giffin gives another tale of complicated love. Should you seek out "the one that got away" to get closure or find your happily ever after? Or do you just Love the One You're With?

Wow. Just... WOW.

What an amazing read. I was hooked from the first line. This story draws you in and holds you a willing captive until the very end.

So. What can I say to persuade you to buy and read this? Firstly it was well written, Well paced and never boring. Secondly... it was sci-fi. That in itself is more niche. Don't get me wrong, I love paranormal romance but Mina Just took this idea and ran with it. A part of me wished I was in the world of this story.

The lead characters are a joy to get to know. All three of them. ;) Love scenes are steamy as hell and the emotions in it give this whole tale more depth.

I'd definitely suggest this to friends, family... hell. Anyone that will listen to me. Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Insanely good!
Words cannot describe how much I love this fantasy series by Anne Bishop, but I'm gonna try anyway. First, the characters are fully formed. From the cover one would think that Jaenelle is the main character, and in a way that is true, but in reality each of the players are equally important with rich backstories and thus become real people to the reader.
The world Bishop created in this series is intricate, deadly, wonderful, and beautiful. The books handle some pretty intense subjects, like child abuse, rape, and prostitution, which sounds bad as I write this, but Bishop handles it beautifully. They aren't extra things thrown into the story for attention--each horror is a catalyst for the characters to grow into their destinies. If you read these books, you will love them forever, I promise. These have a special place on the shelf.

I am a massive LOTR’s fan and I can honestly say that every time I watch this film and it’s sequels that I’m still in awe of its beauty. The time and skill that went into this film doesn’t have anything else on par (that’s just my opinion, don’t shoot me). I am yet to find a film that blows me away as much as this. The extended edition and theatrical cut are both as brilliant as each other, the extended provides more story but even without it, you don’t lose the heart and beauty of this film.
If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves adventure, fantasy, twists and turns. You don’t have to have read the books to love them and you don’t need to watch the hobbit first to fall in love either.

Totally agree! I've watched all the movies first, now I'm listening to the free Audio book on YouTube. I actually think watching the movies first helped me picture things better. The books don't go into great detail about what Orcs and other creatures look like. I still suggest the audiobook, there is stuff in the book not in the movies.

Not Like The Book But Not Bad

First off I loved the actress and actor playing the roles both are incredibly and sexy to boot the sex scenes were better in my opinion the story line was a bit more on track with the book but so much was cut out I would love to see the movie made as in the book but take it a bit darker and more erotic only thing I had issue with was christian in the book based to the movie was a way darker person but it's a good movie I'd suggest it to all your friends it's a good date night movie to get you in the mood ?

Karen Chance | 2008 | Erotica, Paranormal, Romance
I'm rereading this book for the third time and it's still as funny and sexy as the first time. Cassie is so engaging, it's hard to find such well written characters that you can truly see yourself being friends with and wanting to meet. Not just because you like them, but because they feel real.

In Embrace the Night, the third book in the Cassie Palmer series, we start to see a much wider picture with new characters and new enemies popping up - and it doesn't seem like Cassie's "usual run of bad luck" no there seems to be a greater - more sinister - purpose that is getting the baddies with the big guns to crawl out to the woodwork to attack our poor little clairvoyant.

Tons of fun, and be prepared to fall even more irrevocably in love with Pritkin and Mircea. What a love triangle to be in.

I can't believe this is my first time watching this movie? How did I get this far in life and have not seen this? Especially with my love of the 80s? I'm ashamed.

Regardless, I want Lloyd. Diane doesn't deserve Lloyd, I do. Just kidding (not really). I thought this film was good. Very 80s, duh, but good! It didn't go the way I thought it would. I thought the iconic scene would be at the end, in the way that the iconic scene is at the end of The Breakfast Club (my favorite), but I have lived and learned. It is not at the end.

I think this movie is a perfect cozy-night-in watch by yourself or with friends. I am definitely going to keep it on my watchlist to come back to ever so often. I love Lloyd. Okay, that's all.
