Mothergamer (1568 KP) rated Boku no Hīrō Akademi, My Hero Academia in TV
Feb 25, 2019
A friend introduced me to My Hero Academia and right from the first episode I was hooked. The story has a great and interesting concept, the characters are great, and the music and artwork for it are fantastic. Each character is quite memorable and I love how the episodes show what they can do. The main character is great and I find myself really liking him and the fact that with all the rough things he has gone through, he still tries to help others and has a good heart. There are great action scenes and wonderful emotional moments as well. I ended up binge watching all 3 seasons because it is that good.

fantastic read
This is the forth book in this series by this author. This is a sports romance read. this book can be read as a stand alone read or as part of the series. This story is fun, steamy and is perfectly written. Amazing well written characters which you will fall in love with as you read. The banter between the main characters is laugh out loud funny. This is another amazing read from this author, which will have you hooked from the first page. I can' t wait to read more from this author in the future.

this is the first by this author that I've read and it definitely wont be the last. this is a beautiful love story. the author has a fab way of making you feel like your right there with the characters every step of the way. this story flows at a very steady pace through out the book. the characters were very interesting and keep me reading long into the night. the relationship between the characters goes on a journey of lots of ups and downs till they reach the right path. i cant wait to read more by this author in the future.

Villainous Vee (53 KP) rated Orange Is The New Black in TV

I had put off watching this show for a long time but finally decided to pick it up and see what was happening and what the hype was about.
I as hooked from the first episode and they just kept getting better and better. The characters are well written and well acted.
I binge watched all the avaliable seasons one after the other and I can't wait for the new season to arrive.
Some characters you love and you become very invested in, some you hate and can't wait to see if they come to some grizzly end.
If you have never been sure as to whether to watch it or not then give it a go.

Wow, so this one I was kind of iffy about when I asked to read it, but wanted to give it a good try and it sounded interesting. I really enjoyed it.. the first like 10% went a little bit slow for me but then it picked up amazingly and everything got super interesting. The action, the love, the sadness and everything inbetween that happened had me up until 2am finishing reading it. Very good and I cannot wait to read the next ones. I am hoping there will be books for each of the ladies and the guys :) Very happy the author let me read it for review

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Join Princes Fredric, Gustav, Liam, and Duncan as they must ban together to stop an evil witch from taking over their kingdoms. Of course, first, they must learn their own strengths and how to get along with each other.
This book was laugh out loud funny from start to finish with wonderful character growth and an engaging plot. My only complaint is that I didn't read it even sooner. With strong male and female characters, I think both boys and girls will equally love it. And adults will delight in this middle grade fractured fairy tale as well.

The first book in this long running kids series introduces us to Encyclopedia Brown and his mind for facts. As in all the books, there are 10 cases for him to solve, and we are given the clues to solve them along with him.
I'd love to say that I figured all these out on this reread. Really, I would. A few I remembered, but most of the time I was stumped. I had a rough idea what the clue was, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Guess I'm still not smarter than a fifth grader.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated Mr. Monk Is Open For Business (Mr. Monk, #18) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Before Natalie and Monk can have an official grand opening for their new PI business, they wind up with two cases. First, there's the murder suspect who won't explain why he was moving a body in a vacant field. Then there's the mass shooter who vanished despite being surrounded by police.
Both of these mysteries are great and kept me engaged the entire way through. The characters and their growth are wonder as well, and the humor had me grinning when I wasn't outright laughing. Fans of the series will love it.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated Once Upon the End (Half Upon a Time, #3) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The trilogy comes to an end as Jack completes his training for his new master and sets out on a mysterious quest of his own. Meanwhile, May is living with her wicked step-mother and Phillip is wishing for more adventures. Will these three reunite to overthrow the Evil Queen? If you've enjoyed the first two, you'll love how the series ends. There's more humor and more twists and suspense. I always had a hard time putting it down. And if you haven't read the series? Don't start here, but read all three of them.

Erika Kehlet (21 KP) rated A Clue in the Stew (Soup Lover's Mystery, #5) in Books
Feb 21, 2018
What a great cozy even thought this book (#5) was the first I had read in this series, by chapter three the main characters all felt like old friends. The story is full of twists and turns that kept me guessing right up to the end, and the authors smooth writing style kept the story flowing. If youve read any of the Soup Lovers Mysteries, you should love this one. If not, nows as good a time as any to start you dont need to have read the previous books to enjoy this story, and I did enjoy it!
