This was a good film, based on a true story, good length as there were occasional slow parts. I really found myself rooting for the characters even though the camaraderie was subtle, it built enough of a picture to feel that.

The main character is exceptionally clever and when the plan is first revealed I thought it was impossible but somehow it was done well.

I love the main suspicious guard and how close he comes to finding out the truth.

My biggest erk is that they didn't bother using native actors, the accents are OK but when in a stressful situation/shouting they are dropped.

Well I loved the first book, I think I gave it five stars. This one, not so much. Unfortunately for it, the romance was based on reincarnation which is not something I enjoy reading about. I think it's because I don't get to really see the relationship grow, more like scenes of them now and then when the feelings are already there and I feel a little cheated.

Nevertheless, I still love the secondary characters and can't wait to read more. Zarek certainly has me intrigued and I can't wait to see who makes him turn all warm and gooey.

Not just yet, though. I appear to have lost interest in paranormal books right now, but soon.

I was a little wary of reading this since I liked the first but didn't love it.

But this. This I loved. The emotions between Logan and Tate were explosive. The wanting of both of them to make it into more than just sex, to make it into a full relationship, to go public. It melted me and my soft, hopeless-romantic heart.

I cried, I wanted to throw my Kindle, I smiled, I 'aah'ed.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster what with religious parents and past, painful relationships but they came through it all in the end stronger than ever.

What a way to end! I need the third book now!

"This isn't part of any phase in my life. I just heard it on Peel, and it had this "gathering of the tribes" time signature - not sure if that's true or not, but it's such a strange record. The delivery... the first line, "Saw her face in the window, it looks quite strange..." That's brilliant. And it's like an odd, surreal miniature. I don't know what it is that makes me like it so much. The chorus goes, "I just can't believe that looking over you, I find you appealing, but it seems that I do." That sums up the way I feel about the record. It's not a pretty record, but I love it."

"When I was a boy I dreamed of sailing and exploring the the open seas. I know my inspiration arose from watching episodes of The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau. This almanac was the first gift I received from my then girlfriend, now wife, and why I still love her. She saw my passion for the ocean and presented me with a book by my hero. Cousteau gives many examples of how we have been destroying our shared environment for thousands of years. But more importantly, he always leads us to solutions we can implement to save and restore our planet. “We have one planet. We have to take care of it.”"

"Shawshank Redemption, because I love that it is about the power of the human spirit. That movie is one that I watch when I think about giving up. And that’s rare. I don’t do that anymore, but when I was first starting out in this industry, I would use that film as a metaphor for life because it was really hard and I was getting told “no” by all the studios and [wondered] if I would ever be a successful filmmaker. I would literally look and I would say, “If [Andy Dufresne] can survive and go through all that and keep his spirit then so can I, dammit [laughing].” That’s one of my favorites."

3.75 stars. 4 stars for the first half, 3.5 stars for the second.

The author came out with a lot of wise words/phrases/comments in this book and made Charlotte seem older than her years but I guess she'd been through a lot in those 19 years .

I have to say that I might have liked it a little more if the story had ended after the 'I love yous' were spoken but at the same time I liked how the author wrote the rest of the story too. How not everyone was as bad as they came across initially and how every little side story got an ending.

I liked it.

There's a clear divide about this film, as was very evident about the feedback. In almost all instances the women loved it and the men hated it. And in this instance (like some others... don't get me started ;) ) men are wrong. With four fantastic actresses they would have had to do a really terrible job for this to come out as a bad film.

When this one comes out on DVD I will be pairing it with First Wives Club and having a very entertaining evening in front of the box.

It's a solid comedy, with some romance thrown in... and woman or man... you'll finish watching that film and be a little in love with Andy Garcia.

I still really like this series.

I think it's all about the connection between the two main characters, Elena and Raphael, and the love they share. I like how though she's his biggest weakness, being a newly made angel, she's also the one thing that keeps him grounded and makes him a better person/angel/whatever.

With everything that happens in these books it easy to forget some things but the things I do remember include their first flying together--that was equally exciting and heart-stopping to read about--Sam, he's still a cute little thing, and the prospect of angel babies in the future...aww!

I'm looking forward to reading more in the series!
