5 Fantastic Stars. This is the first I've read by this author and even though it's book 3 of the series I didn't feel that I'd missed anything vital. The action started nearly straight away and it just didn't stop. Love the love, hate relationship between Jared and Sparrow and can you blame him after what he thinks shes done. If I could award more stars I would. Just bought the rest of the series.

So I love watching superhero movies. Funny thing about them though, they all claim the same "rule number 1" which is "protect your identity". What's the first thing that ALWAYS happens? The hero screws up and the bad guy knows who they are, where they live, their family, who their best friend is etc etc etc... I mean, I'd love to see one where that doesn't happen. Am I alone in this? Just curious.

It's definitely still a major part of most Spiderman films, and is way overused in Batman films.

It's just efficient (not necessarily imaginative) storytelling. The Spider-Man films in particular have gone big-time for this 'personal connection between Peter Parker and the villain' idea, more than is really credible, and this is probably a factor too.

What strikes me is the number of these films which centre on 'clean energy production' as a plot device.

MERRY-GO-ROUND Love

I enjoyed this book, that being said. I was a little let down. Stephanie Perkins does an amazing job on getting the reader back to high school years and that first love. I could feel the butterflis while reading those passages. I was a little upset that it took so long for the characters to get together. They went round and round. Over all I would recommend this book.

Snakes on the Job ~ I was hooked on this one from the first page. I loved the cool display of different machines/vehicles and that names were associated with them; kids love pointing to them and asking, “what is that?” they also love all the bright colors too. I liked how Kathryn Dennis also emphasized teamwork to get things done and how we can include everyone in our play.

"An early touchstone for me. One of the first art films that showed me at a young age what movies could be. They could make you laugh and also be super odd and eccentric, but there was still room for them to break your heart. It was a huge influence on Garden State. Two oddballs find love and strength within each other’s eccentricities, all set to the music of Cat Stevens. I love this movie."

Preface: I love all of the Sailor Moon mangas, so I will always rate them high.

The Sailor V series is supplemental to Sailor Moon, featuring Sailor V, who later becomes Sailor Venus. The first volume is the origin of the character, who's real name is Minako. Minako also meets a cat with a mark on the forehead, and becomes Sailor V.

If you love Sailor Moon, the Sailor V series is a must read.

"I love Goldfrapp, I absolutely love Goldfrapp, I’m a huge fan. I think I first heard ‘Strict Machine’ when I was in Germany actually, when I was doing Hair. When I came back I got really into all of their albums. It just reminds me of another time in my life, another chapter. “I was really obsessed with Goldfrapp and I would listen to Black Cherry every time I would go out, and at parties. My first boyfriend and I, I think that was our favourite album. It just reminds me of being young and coming into my own and feeling fabulous. “I'm just going to say it: sex. ‘Strict Machine’ is a very sexual song. I think that was my first boyfriend when I was listening to that. It has a lot of sex memories."

Just brilliant
After a brilliant first season, I did have my doubts if they'd be able to carry things on and come up with more fresh ideas. Season 2 managed to exceed expectation and every single episode just gets even more hilarious and crazy. I love it!
