I had been wanting to read this novel since I first saw the cover before it was even released. I don't understand why the cover is so delectable, but it made this novel a must read for me.

I love Lindsey's Malory Series. It's on my top 10 series list in fact. I have read some of her other works but this is the first in a few years. The greatest thing about Lindsey is that she knows how to tell a story. From her style to the dialogue, from the plot and character development to the story itself, the woman has a gift.

However, I did not fall in love with it the way I expected myself to. I love historical romance, and Lindsey is the Queen of Historical Romance. Despite this, I was not wowed like I thought I would. I loved how Lindsey put a little murder mystery in it. The twist towards the end was interesting, though not wholly unexpected.

Jason Forever
Crystal Lake: The Complete History of Friday The 13th is a excellent documentary of the whole history of the Friday The 13th franchise. Going through each one of them, learn how their got made, interviews with cast memebers, the history of them and more. This is the first horror documentary that i watched and what a excellent start. I love the Friday The 13th franchise, and so watching a documentary about the whole franchise with cast members and learn more about each movies production was intresting. My favorite one is the third one, cause thats where Jason first wears his Hockey Mask and its in 3D and also that theme song. Kane Hodder is my favorite Jason and just wish he was in Freddy vs. Jason. Anways if you love the Friday The 13th franchise and want to learn more about the productions of each one of them, how their got made, the cast interviews and more than you will love this documentary.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Candlewick Press for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I adored this book! When I saw the title and read the description I was immediately drawn to it: first, my name is Alice and the protagonist's name is Alice (probably a selfish reason but hey), I also saw so much of myself in this character even from reading the description that I knew that we would click because I was also kind of a nerd and an outcast at school. It's also Australian so that meant that I got to pull out my best Australian accent while reading it (I'll leave it up to you to decide if that's a good or bad thing). I related quite strongly to a lot of Alice's high school experiences and I loved how she was able to gain confidence and grow throughout the story. I think my enjoyment at the start was maybe hampered by me trying to read too many books at once because I ended up just sitting down and inhaling the rest of it in one sitting. I also LOVE Teddy Taualai but that goes without saying (I love almost all sweet but angsty teenage boy characters, they are the way to my heart)! I also love that it tackled first love, first friendships and just general high school drama. This book wasn't perfect but I related so strongly to it that I have to show it all the love!

When I read the blurb I thought oooooooh I can't wait and a started it, read the first chapter and thought hmmmm this may not be for me and I read a different book.
I then went back to it and it must have been me just not being in the right genre mindset because the 2nd chapter onwards I was hooked.
I love love love vampire books and it was a new take on the human / vampire love story.
The character building was amazing and there are so many layers to each character.
I think it's awesome that she was the one to chase and stalk the vampire and I'm gutted the book ended as I want to know what happens next so I'm looking forward to the sequel :)

"Jerry Maguire is number two for me. Again, not in any particular order. I just recently showed it to my two kids, and it was such a treat to experience it through them for the first time. I love Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise is my all time favorite actor. We’re desperate to work with him. Cuba is so good, and it’s so emotional. I found myself crying in front of my children while we watched the movie again. It’s such an emotional love story. It’s a love story between Tom and Cuba, and obviously between Renee and Tom. Arizona Cardinals are our home, so again, great, great movie. It feels real. It feels like it’s a snapshot into their lives. Again, that’s why I’m so emotional watching it. Oh, I love it so much."

A good read, the sex scenes are super hot, I love the game they play and a cold shower was nearly called for. I'd figured out the bad guys early on which was a bit disappointing and I thought the ending could have been a bit more dramatic. I enjoyed the more that the first one in the series.

I didn't love it the first time through, but the second time and onward has gotten me to really, really enjoy it and become attached to it. It also helps that Hawaii contains some truly fond memories for me. The songs and heroic nature of the female lead character make it a winner in my book.
