"This is the very first book I remember my mother reading to me. The original illustrations by Myrtle Sheldon are mesmerizing. I loved hearing the tempo of the rhymes, over and over until I fell in love with words for life. My favorites are, “In the Land of Counterpane,” “The Unseen Playmate,” and “Bed in Summer.”"

This movie is one of those ones that just doesn't age well. I love Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris is hilarious, but this film is just subpar if that. I've seen this film a couple of times and every time I finish it, it's just meh and part of me regrets having watched it in the first place.

Good morning, friends! There are few things as genuinely exciting as watching someone discover a love of reading for the first time! This quote captures that feeling beautifully, that particular electricity of words clicking into meaning and meaning clicking into something larger.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday. Take care and stay safe. 💙

I read this book before, and I just had an urge to read it again. And I loved it just as much as the first time. It's such a sweet story, a girl has an imaginary friend, he leaves her and then years later when she's an adult comes back into her life and brings joy, happiness and love into her world. How crazy is it that her perfect guy turns out be her imaginary childhood friend? Love really does come in many different forms.

I love the card worker placement mechanism (2 more)
different cards have different numbers of workers
Interesting 1-up mechanic to take actions (need to have more workers than the guy who did it before you)
A worker placement game using cards of different values.
I love this game. It's medium level brain burn in a card game. it's not a gateway game, as it's more complex than that. but seasoned players will have no problem understanding it after the first round. Highly recommend giving this a try.

Oh. My. God. I LOVED this book more than I can say. This was the first I've read in the series and I will sure as hell be going back for more!? The writing was fabulous.. unlike your typical rock story and I was hooked right from the start and did not want to put it down. I loved Z and Anna and their connection was both beautiful and heartbreaking. Passionate love scenes, loss, hope, and undying love... An absolute must-read - Highly recommended!!
