The unique storyline.
Hands down, one of the best books I have ever read!
This is the first Crime book I have ever read in my entire life, and I've got to say it will also be the last. The last, due to the fact that no other crime book past, present or future, will ever come anywhere close comparing to the absolutely astounding story of Red Plus Zone.
All I wanted to do with my days was read this book. When I was at work or busy with house chores etc, all I could think of was this book, and what it would be like to live in the post apocalyptic world described by the author, what it would be like being Sam McCall as a post apocalyptic detective. The book is so well written and the story line is so captivating that I connected with all of the characters, I felt their emotions and I felt their pain, and at times I felt like I was actually living in the post-shattered world (which isn't a good thing when you ask a waitress in a cafe what time zone we are in).

After contacting the author, he pulled the books and got an editor. He sent me an updated version to re-review. The flow of the story is smoother making an easier read. While there are some grammar mistakes, they don't distract from the story. Had I not mentioned them before I wouldn't have noticed them this time.
I was hooked on this story in the first page. It is an extremely creative story set in Tulsa, Oklahoma involving a cult of Chuthlu, death, college students, pot, police. Told from 4 different POVs. It is hard not to have some sort of reaction to the characters whether it be from disgust, dislike, or wanting to encourage them and afraid for them. There are also a few twists that may take you by surprise.

This story is graphic and can get uncomfortable with it's descriptions. Without too much of a spoiler there are some disturbing scenes and situations.
There's a pretty good balance of humor, fear, amazement, and horror.
I can't wait to read the next book

Are you looking for a fun book about music? Well, Claudette Miraculous Motown Adventure is a good one. You will be able to read to your children. They can learn a little bit about the Miracles and their first lady of Motown.
This is about a girl who needs to help save the day. Will Claudette be able to save the town of Motown? The way this is done is sweet. The story plot is easy to understand. It shows that even when all things are dark and gloomy. There might still be hope to bring back the happiness and cheer to Motown.
The pictures are done well. Kids can look at the pictures. The pictures tell the story. There is rhyming in the book. The book can teach young readers to read. Though they may need help with some of the words depending on their reading level.
The book as music throughout the book. You will learn some things about the band and group “The Miracles.” The author wants to preserve the music history of this band or time. In doing so she decided to write this book so that it fun and enjoyable.

The Swan's Road is the first book in the The Atheling Chronicles, which details the life of Harald and his father, Cnute. If you have read any Viking literature then these names will sound familiar. This story may have a basis in truth or it may be completely made up by the author. Either way, you will have a great historical novel to read.
Harald is the main character and he is travelling with his father. Excitement, adventure, love and sorrow, all wait for him as by his choices, he becomes separated from the main group.
This is full of action and adventure, in a medieval fashion. The characters grow throughout the book and behave true to themselves. I loved how it all worked out together, whilst keeping the reader on tenterhooks at the same time.
A brilliant medieval read in a series I hope to continue with. Absolutely recommended by me.
