Fishing for Bodies
August 1905 finds American heiress Stella Kendrick and Viscount “Lyndy” Lyndhurst planning their wedding as they get to know each other better. Things hit a snag when they find a dead body in a nearby river one morning while fly fishing. The victim was their neighbor, Lord Fairbrother. He wasn’t a nice man and seemed to have multiple enemies. However, suspicion falls on the local snake catcher, someone that Stella has befriended. Can she and Lyndy figure out what really happened?

I enjoyed the first in the series, but I found this one even better. The story is tight with lots to keep us hooked. I was impressed with how it all came together at the end. I do find Stella’s father horrible at times, which is my only negative. Lyndy’s mother, while still annoying, is more on the amusing side. The rest of the cast is charming, and Lyndy and Stella are wonderful leads. You can’t help but root for them. We get the story from multiple viewpoints, but it is always clear when we are switching things up. I’m already looking forward to finding out what happens to these characters next.

I absolutely love Gavin and Stacey and was so excited for this Christmas special! I love that they used the same actor for Neill the baby as 10 years ago! I thought the episode was absolutely brilliant and I'm more angry at Smithy's new girlfriend for not allowing Bryn to tell us at what happened at the fishing trip, as I truly thought we were going to be told, than I am about her utter disdain for the family. I really hope that this is a lead on to another series!

As a big read dead 1 fan I was extremely excited about this game. I would say to date, this is the best open world game in existence. I particularly love how the NPCs remember your previous interactions. I enjoy how you train your horse and customise your weapons and character look.
I look be how you can follow the main story, or get lost in the map hunting, fishing or finding stand alone random events or missions.

Great for all ages
Everyone in my house loves this game from my 3 yr old son to my 35 yr old husband. There was even a study on how it's good for someone with depression and anxiety because of the socializing you do with the characters and the pace of the game. Fishing, bugs, fossils, and artwork make it educational and add in the occasional character who needs help with his countries rounds out the learning. Also, you can help your neighbors, create your own landscaping, and even design your own shirts! Plenty to do and events to participate in.

Things I liked about Deep Blue Sea 3:
- The good characters are actually surprisingly likable
- It's fishing village setting is a nice change
- That bit where a guy yeets himself off a huge boat straight into the mouth of a shark

Things I didn't like about Deep Blue Sea 3:
- The lack of original LL Cool J songs
- Pretty much everything else.

At least this one has the courtesy to not be a shit rip off of the first one like Deep Blue Sea 2, but it's still a film that would be a chore to sit through more than once.

Book Review | Fishing the Net by Rod Wood & Jane Reeves
Wow I loved reading this book. It showed the realistic side to online dating and how the main character Gill Flynn who divorced twice. Shes fifty something and she wants to find love and settle down. She heard about that you can join up with these dating websites through her friends at work and she thought why not. She lives in a small village and its hard to find a decent man. Gill Flynn is a funny women and she made me laugh through the book. I love how you go along the stories of each date she been on. She gone through some good, bad and even the scammers. It shocking what people will do online.
I felt for Gill as she just wanted someone to love and be loved back. You get through some of her dates thinking yes she found the one and there is always a flaw in their looks, habits or their personality.
It continues on with the stories of Ocra and Starfish and how they met online fell in love and married and Gill was jealous that they both found each other. But she starts to help her work friend Dory set up a online dating profile and help her find the real guys out there. But Dory is so picky and its a struggle to help her find the one. So Gill shows her that there is more then one site to find some men who would love to meet up in person.
I love how the authors put in the fishing names like Gill, Starfish and Dory. Gill is a fan of fishing so her intentions are to fish the net and find a decent catch. You are rooting for her to find the guy and while you reading through you expect her to find the guy she want but there are always let down. But this book shows the honest account of what it's like to find love in the 21st century. I am so happy that I found my man and never used the dating website as this book shows how men can be down right cheaters (I know not all of you men out there).

I wont say anymore as I would want you to go and buy this book and see what you think to it.

Thanks for reading.

Have you got any stories to tell about your experience with any of the dating websites?

I was given this by the authors of Fishing the Net I am grateful they sent it out for me to review on my blog. I want to thank Rod Wood and Jane Reeves for sending me this book.

Mothergamer (1514 KP) rated the PlayStation 4 version of Doraemon Story Of Seasons in Video Games

Doraemon Story Of Seasons
Doraemon Story Of Seasons
2020 | Casual, Simulation
A very charming crossover with Doraemon and Story of Seasons. You can play as Nobita from Doraemon and the farming mechanics will feel familiar because they are very much what is used in the Story Of Seasons games. The artwork is pretty looking like watercolor paintings and there's a lot of different things to do in the game ranging from farming to fishing to bug catching. You can celebrate festivals in each season and make friends with the villagers. It can feel a little slow in places, but the story and characters make you forget all that. You can read the full blog review here: http://mg28-mothergamer.blogspot.com/2021/03/mothergamer-plays-doraemon-story-of.html

"This is art concealing art. On the face of it, the film is a gentle satire of French bourgeois life on holiday. There is no story, just Hulot (Jacques Tati himself) drifting innocently through a holiday resort, leaving a trail of confusion behind him. The gags are wonderful, apparently effortless, the situations natural. In reality, the film is the extraordinary creation of a man obsessed with perfection. Each move, each image was planned in detail by Tati until the gags were immaculate; the tennis ball that bounces off the head of the serious little girl curtsying to her elders, the paint pot that floats out to sea, then back on the opposite side of the beached fishing boat; everything apparently natural, everything the product of intense creativity."

I still play this game on my 3DS. It's such a wonderful game because it's so cheerful and there's fun things you can do such as fishing, digging for fossils, and making friends with all the animal villagers. You can also sail to an island and do island tours. This lets you roam around or you can do a tour that has a mini game that you can win medals for. For example, you can do a bug catching tour and earn medals. The medals can be traded in for items in the island shop. You're the mayor of the town also so you can work on public works, participate in seasonal festivals, and invite friends to your town. It's just this lovely game that is great for people of all ages.

Hannah Goes Fishing for a Killer
A fishing tournament has come to Lake Eden, which is great news for Lake Eden Inn since it is located on the shores of Eden Lake. Hannah Swensen is out at the inn filling in for their pastry chef, who is out for a family emergency. That’s how she first meets Sonny Bowman, the celebrity face of the contest. Sonny is as arrogant as he is handsome, but Hannah is still surprised when she finds his dead body. Can she figure out what happened?

If you haven’t picked up a book in this series before, don’t start here. Not only are there some spoilers about what has gone on in Hannah’s life recently, but the earlier books were stronger. Go back then to see why people got hooked on the books. For fans, they’ll find this book is a mixed bag. It’s definitely stronger than the last few in the series were, with a little less cooking and baking talk and more time spent on the mystery. I didn’t figure out who the killer was until the end, and there were some decent twists along the way. Since the action takes place at the Inn, we only get cameos from some of the usual characters, which is okay. The characters continue to be a bit thin, but fans will love spending time with them anyway. My biggest issue was the lack of editing. There were several times that a character contradicted something that had happened just a few pages before. It wasn’t related to the mystery; it was just lazy writing and editing. By my count, there are twenty new recipes to enjoy once you’ve finished the book, and they made my mouth water as always. If you’ve stuck with the series, you’ll be glad you picked up the latest entry.
