Keanu Reeves is always a crowd please. The inclusion of Iko Uwais in this film made it a must see for me.

It is quite startling to see national treasure Keanu in an unfavorable role. Once the sheer shock of that wore off I was able to settle in and enjoy the movie for everything that it is.

Truth be told, I'm a sucker for old school styling when it comes to martial arts. This movie has that in spades. The action is very reminiscent of the ilk of years gone by. I truly enjoyed that about it.

The acting was alright. The story was ok, if not a bit telegraphed. If you're a fan of martial arts movies in general (or of Keanu, as he also directed) the I would endorse seeing this movie. If you're looking for a big budget action flick or a billion dollar blockbuster, this isn't it. But you will have a good old fashioned enjoyable flick on your hands.

Not as good as hoped but ok
This film was centred mostly around the parents who I think were a very strong cast, I had a few laughs during the film but I did expect there to be more comedy. It did border on a chick flick kind of film, with the parent scenes breaking that up. All in all, it was s good film with a great cast but I was a little disappointed.

So I just watched this film yesterday for the first time, unless I just don't remember watching it before. I love a chick flick but this just wasn't very good. I didn't find either of the characters likeable and he never gave her a properly apology for the night they met, he just shrugged it off, yet when he quotes Shakespeare she's taken by him, it just didn't seem believable to me.

Decent
Watching this was what I expected - an "Alien" movie. Lol. The cinematography and effects were cool. The acting was good and the story, while predictable, played out nicely. Just like with the other "Alien" movies, it's a good sci-fi horror flick. Even if you didn't see "Prometheus" you can enjoy this movie as it explains it's background plenty as it goes. Nothing too new or different, but still entertaining. Worth a watch.

Intense
This horror/thriller flick was great. The acting (Blake Lively) was excellent and the cinematography was very well done. Some seriously beautiful visuals. This shark attack story played out well with many intense moments throughout to keep you on the edge of your seat. I found myself cheering for her to make it to that next moment. The effects were done very well and the ending was unexpected but welcome. REALLY worth a watch!

Average Action Flick
I didn't have high hopes for this film. I really enjoyed Olympus has fallen but the sequel set in London was pretty poor. This was at least a lil better than the last one, although not by much. There are some good action scenes but the plot was a bit silly and predictable. It was a bit too long as well. Just ok for your action needs, nothing special.

Fun, fun, fun. Dexterity and killing mayhem.
I did a demo last night and met JR Honeycutt last night. He was great. Embodies the spirit of fun this games is about. Do you want to throw fireballs. Flick em at other players. Run around snatching treasures. Taking pictures. Duck into caves and come out in other places. This is not a deep strategy game. But you will smile unless you hate the theme.

Card dictate movement, and also have another "bonus" like flicking a fireball or unleashing a flying tiger. so it's multi use card based. while you run around collecting things trying not to die and take pictures.

Great tabletop game for families with children. Cards dictate movement and you get to flick fire bombs at your opponents!
