Great
Everything is just as great as in previous movies, or maybe even better. New villian. Old enemies become allies. Maybe even friends? Lessons about not letting fear control you, second chances and forgiveness. Disney trilogy for whole family.
RIP Cameron, an amazing and sunny actor.

There are a few times that I change-up my review schedule to accommodate a book. The Captive Heart is one such book. I kept hearing my friends praising Michelle Griep, and figured, I had better give it a try. WOW, I am so very glad I did. A compelling story of love and forgiveness. You will find a lot of adventure, mishaps, romance, and passion within these pages.
I found this story not only tender and passionate between our hero and heroine, but also filled with the love and forgiveness of our Lord. His fierce love for us and His undying forgiveness is portrayed through this story. No matter what we go through, the trials that we see, the heartache we endure, the choices we make, He will never leave our side. Yet we must make the choice to walk in the light. To walk in His forgiveness and forgive ourselves.
The minute you open The Captive Heart, you will find yourself transported back to Revolutionary America, and the tensions are high. With non stop adventures, you will find yourself unable to set this book down to you know, eat, cook, clean...With an excellent storyline and gracefully composed with an elegant hand, Michelle Griep has indeed captured my heart with this book.
I received a complimentary copy of The Captive Heart through NetGalley. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

Elephant Shoe is a story of loss and hope; acceptance and forgiveness; family, friendship and first love.
It's a British LGBT YA with mild sexual content, moderate bad language, and some difficult themes.

This book dealt with some big issues in an amazing way. It is an enemies to lovers book but at it's core it is about forgiveness and healing. The chemistry between the two characters was well developed even as it evolved. This is a good book for a beach read or better yet a book club read.

Gap of Time
Enjoyed the book. The book is beautiful and clever, emotionally wrought and profoundly intelligent it will pull the reader into its wise world of jealousy, paranoia, grief, revenge and forgiveness in the stunning prose; however, I would like to add that the author could have conveyed its character Leo's anger and message across without the heavy use of foul language.

When you see the cast you will expect this film to be at least decent. However, it started slow, got slower, a shootout at the end and then some forgiveness for past wrongs blah, blah, blah. It took me about three days to watch the whole film as I kept finding more interesting things to do like cutting my toenails!

I really enjoyed reading this book. I docked a smash point because it could be a tad slow at times. As others have said, it is a stressful read. It's one of those stories where you empathize with all the characters, even though they may make poor decisions. I liked the overall message and it was truly a book about love and forgiveness.
