So, I've finished it. It took me two days altogether for the six volumes and several WTF moments near the beginning. But by the end, I was happy. So happy for them, though admittedly up until a few pages from the end I wanted to smack a certain blonde. It was so obvious how much Boss, as you call him, wanted you!!
You drove me mad at times, made me laugh/giggle at others, and overall made me love you both.

A great cast of characters, both primary and secondary and the art was pretty cool too.

Since I'm torn between four stars and five stars then I will give this crazy read four and 1/2 stars. I don't think that crazy is the correct term for what I need. This read had some sick and repulsive scenes .... definitely some of the best I've encountered in sometime and contains just the right amount of evil and chaos that pushes your mind into boundary lines that you never knew existed. I recommend you read this book when you have the time to do it all in one sitting because if it hadn't been for prior commitments, that's exactly what I would have done... read it all in one day. The author's writing style and descriptive prose make this a MUST read. However, if you have a weak stomach then read at your own peril.

I've been reading a lot of Goodreads' "MM Romance" Group shorts of late, this being the fourth? in the last week or so, and I've liked them all.
With this one I have to admit that if it had just been the gig, the confession and the sex I would have given it five stars.
But since it was a little longer than that and we met the rest of the band and a few other people I'm going to give it four stars.
It was cute!

Interesting character study and story told through this family's three different viewpoints during the mother's final weeks (months?) of life. I would have given it a four until the last "chapter" and had to drop my rating as I didn't care for the ending. I will give Holly Brown another go in the future.
