Whoever hasn't seen the advert for this game is very lucky and probably rare. Eventually those have had seen it probably went and downloaded it and to be fair it has that connection of I guess action play as well as free gambling with the slot machines. Whilst it lacks communication with other players I definitely consider it a decent game.

Great Game
A matching game with a little story line with choices. Many, many levels to play (currently in the 300’s) and they vary enough to stay interesting! However the game does sometimes freeze which can mean if you’ve successfully completed a level it may not be registered (which can be frustrating especially on a harder level). You can buy things from the in-game store, however you can also earn items for free and you get coins for every level completed.

I got it over lockdown, as I'm sure many others did, just to pass time. I got it with Animal Crossing and I also ordered Mario Odyssey. The game choices are limited if you want something comparative to a PlayStation to xbox but they suffice for the little screen you can play on. And the free game choices are actually really good. The only thing I don't like about the lite that you get with the Switch is the ability to cast to the TV, for the bigger screen and the multilayer games like Just Dance or Mario Kart. But other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it and its the perfect travel size to take anywhere!

Can be played solo. Excellent Story lines. Streamlined combat. (0 more)
Would like more variety to monsters. Everything seems like a Zombie, and they make a lot of unnecessary noise. (0 more)
Join a Secret Society and Save the World.
Secret World Legends is re-released and is free to play. It has been simplified. The combat is streamlined. The story lines and acting is still engaging. A player can advance in level with a minimum of grinding and most quests are appropriate for solo players. Funcom has just released a end game raid for New York. They have been committed to releasing new material.

How Games Should Be Done
This game should have been game of the year last year. It has it all. Graphics, gameplay, story and characters. You play as Jin as he struggles to keep the code of the Samurai in order to free his clan and his family from the threat of the Mongols. The story makes you care not only about the main character but your friends that accompany you on your mission. As you embark on your journey you learn new tactics and gain charms that enhance your abilities in order to take down Khotun Kahn....the leader of the Mongol invasion. You will eventually master different sword styles and a bevy of weapons to use in your adventure. If you haven't played this game yet, then you are missing out. For any gamer this is a must play.

Dark Souls: The card game
Dark Souls: The card game
2018 | Card Game
Really captures the atmosphere of Dark Souls (3 more)
Forces players to work together if they want to survive
The deck building allows you to customise your play style
A fun and replayable solo mode
The rulebook is confusing to say the least (3 more)
The setup and take down of the game is time consuming
This is not a game for those with short attention spans
Boss fights feel anticlimactic
Great idea, bad execution
The Dark Souls card game is a deep card game that has good replay value and a customisable deck building system that really feels like it exists in the Souls universe. If you enjoy the video game series and deck building games, then you're going to love the Dark Souls board game.

If you are planning on playing it though, you're going to need a few hours free to clear a full game. Most of the games I've played have been 3 hours from setup to takedown, though I have had games as short as 2 hours and as long as 4, it really depends on the skill and experience of your play group. Fortunately, DS is a mostly skill based game with elements of luck that you'd expect from any card game. Build your deck right and play as a team and you shouldn't have too many problems though.

In short, this is a great way to spend an evening, but it's definitely not a game you'll want to play every week. Pick it up and bring it out when you fancy a challenge, you won't regret having it in your collection.

This is the biggest Forza Horizon to date and it's not just the best Forza game, it's one of the best games you can buy on the Xbox One. Playground Games outdid itself this year and Microsoft has something truly spectacular here.

Free Guy (2021)
Free Guy (2021)
2021 | Action, Adventure, Comedy
I play video games fairly regularly, so it's no surprise that I absolutely love the concept of Free Guy. A whole ass movie exploring the daily ins and outs of an NPC existing in a Grand Theft Auto style world is something that interests me, and it's feels quite unique. Unfortunately, that uniqueness is bogged down by a whole lot of over familiar execution. The time loop style plot trope, the over the top douchebag villain (even when it's Taika Waititi), events in the movie being presented through familiar real life news stations or YouTube, the inclusion of multiple popular IPs thrown in for a cheap thrill - for a movie that carries a fresh premise, it manages to feel wholly unoriginal.
These negatives would usually be enough to complely write off the finished product, but luckily, Free Guy is entertaining as hell. It has some decent action set pieces, never tries to be something it's not, and even managed to wrangle a few laughs out of me. Most importantly, it's fun.

Free Guy has plenty of flaws, but it's shortcomings are just about balanced out by the good, and it will surely appeal to the majority of people who see it. A decent enough switch-off watch.

My favourite game of the generation
This is by far my favourite game of the generation and that's saying a lot because there are some amazing games I've played.

It may not be for everyone. There is no single player story campaign. The story and lore are things you kinda have to work out for yourself through voice lines, online comics, animated shorts etc

There will always be a character for someone whether your a medic or a tank protecting everyone or someone who goes running in guns blazing. You have a character who uses a jump jet and shoots rockets but then you have a robot who can turn itself into a turret.

You can play this game for hours and hours and it's an easy game to get into for all newcomers. You used to call of duty? There's a character there with an assault rifle, you got snipers and shotgun users. There are 27 heroes to choose from right now.

And the beauty of this is, no paid dlc. All maps and characters in the future are 100% free. There is no leveling up characters so everyone is on an even playing field. Only reason you level up is to win loot boxes. I know theres a huge controversy surrounding them but you only get comsrtics and they are fun to collect.

The game itself is 6v6 with different modes. Control, escort payload, capture. The usual stuff, then some extra stuff in arcade like mystery heroes where you become a random hero everytime you die, 3v3 elimination, death match. You have the usually quick play games but once you become level 25 you can start playing competitive if that's your thing.

It's a game you are constantly getting better at. Blizzard are constantly tweaking it with patches to keep it fresh. Plus there's a new character coming soon which is a hamster in a mech!!! What's not to love about that????

I do recommend playing it. Its fun to play on your own AND in a group.

Album Favorite

"If you listen to the first Saxon album, you can hear where the band was at that time, and what we were talking about earlier, with Free and Yes. That album is split three ways: the songs we wrote together that were fast and aggressive; then the more proggy tracks, longer and more musical; then blues riffs. So if you listen that album you can see there were three things that could have happened - we could have been like Free or like Yes, or we could play a new, aggressive kind of music, singing about motorcycles, and those were the songs we wrote together. If you listen to that album you could see where our influences came from, and how it all came together to create ‘Wheels Of Steel’. If you listen to ‘Backs To The Wall’, that is where I was coming from – try to get away from where you're supposed to be and drag yourself out of that to become a musician. ‘Stallions of the Highway’ is maybe the forerunner of ‘Motorcycle Man’ and the songs that Metallica and Megadeth took from and then invented a new kind of music"
