Andre and Camille have known each other for a while now. They were both in their friends, Peyton & Lance's wedding. But Camille left the party early and Andre sees no reason to stick around. When he gets home, he's lonely and wants a warm body by his side. He goes on the the app Booty Call and who does he find there buy Camille. He invites her over and one thing leads to another and the next thing you know, they're in bed together and neither one of them is mad about that. But can friends become lovers, or will it ruin the friendship.

Humpany is the 3rd book in the Booty Call Series, and this one I liked. I liked that Andre and Camille had a friendly relationship and didn't just jump in bed every time they saw each other. Camille is the type of girl I would be friends with. She is laid back and knows what she wants.

Another quick read from the Queens of the Quickie.

This is supposed to be a Snow White retelling but I really couldn’t see it. Regardless, it’s an erotic fairytale retelling which is right up my alley. It’s heavy on the erotica while still having enough plot to push the story forward. Normally I would be aggravated that this story is divided into three parts but I knew that going in and already had the rest of the story so I didn’t have to wait for the rest.

I love friends to lovers stories, especially childhood friends. I would like to say I enjoyed the premise to this story but honestly I thought it was stupid. I wish I had better word but there it is. Now you may be saying “but you knew that going in!” Honestly, I was hoping it was going to be a menage. I guess it was just wishful thinking, because what I got instead was the age old “hey let me ask my male friend how to seduce this other male but wait my friend wants me” trope.

All in all, definitely worth the read.

ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A historical menage a trois involving childhood friends? Sign me up please! As soon as a I read the synopsis, I requested this book immediately. This is everything I wanted. Historical erotica is the best. Childhood friends to lovers is my weakness. Throw in a menage a trois and I am sold 100%.

And the novel didn’t disappoint. Overall, it was as erotic as it was romantic. I was a little annoyed at the characters, their actions/reactions to situations, and how they handled them. I mean, they haven’t seen this woman they loved for years, and the first time they do, they practically ravage her in the street after not contacting her in forever. It felt similar to reading a YA where the couple hasn’t quite figured out how to interact with their significant other as an adult.

Barring that, it was a great read. I wish I could find more novels similar to this mold (that aren’t garbage.)
