Friends to Lovers
The second book in the Rules of the Game series features Alex and NHL ice hockey player Cole, who has been attracted to Alex from the start.
Alex is a paediatrician, who finds out her fiancée Marcus has been sleeping around. She confronts Marcus, gets the facts and then leaves.
Alex becomes friends with Cole, and over the duration of the book, the friendship becomes love. When Marcus finds out about the friendship he tries very much to get in the way.
This is an entertaining read, watching the development of friendship becoming more, with some heart warming moments. Its a quick and easy read for sports romance lovers. Cole is a likeable character, and you cant help but feel for Alex after her history with Marcus.

A friends to lovers historical romance that is as cute as it is frustrating.
Friends to lovers is one of my favorite subgenres and it was clear from the beginning that Francine and Julian were meant for each other. Sometimes you can just tell that two souls are two halves of a whole.
While the romance is both heartwarming and almost painfully cute, it was the characters that enraptured me. Francine is an absolute doll and Julian is everything the hero should be. In truth, it is the collective of characters that make this story, not just the leads. FrancineÂ’s friends are a force to behold, her mother surprisingly insightful, and the ton as transparent as they ought to be.
The author has a talent for pulling emotions from the reader. With every mishap, misunderstanding, and discovery, I found myself holding my breathing and worrying right along with the heroine. AT some points I had to place the book down because I was either so frustrated I couldnÂ’t deal or so shocked I needed to process.
I feel in the end, we got the end we wanted. But I was left wanting, mainly for MaryÂ’s story. As one of FrancineÂ’s closest friends, I felt that Mary stole the show for me and I am very much looking forward to her own story.

Devil wears parada vibe
Not a bad watch it was recommended to me on a Saturday morning and I watched the whole season by that night! Very cheesey comedy about a girl that travels to France for work from America but doesn't fit in all that well. She soon learns and grows and starts building a life for herself. Paris, the city of love, where she makes new friends new lovers and a few mistakes.

Way to organize your books
I cannot tell you how many times I see a book and think "I need to read this" but then I forget about. It's great to be able add the books to your read list so you can never lose track. You can also challenge yourself by participating in a reading challenge every year and see how you compare to your friends. It's a great place to review and talk with other book lovers.

This is the seventh book in this series by this author and it can be read as a stand alone read. This is a best friends to lovers romance story. This story will draw you in and get you emotionally involved with the characters. This book has lots of dialogue between the characters. Another outstanding read from this author. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

A great app to organize and share book recommendations
I have used Goodreads for years, and when they came out with an app I immediately downloaded it and it has made things much easier! The fact that I can just go to the library or a bookstore and scan into the app to add it my lists is very convenient! Hook up with friends or other book lovers, join groups and follow reviews, both of friends and authors alike. I wish there wasn't so much confusion as to verisons of books, some books are listed several times whether its the kindle version, or hardcover... and it's a bit difficult sometimes to find new books. But overall, really pleased with the app!
