This book was the first big book after the Jacqueline Wilson books that I read, it was full of action and friendship and JK Rowling is very animated with her attention to detail. It's still one of those books that you can go back to.

Another fantastic random find. The characters are well developed and the relationships are complex all around. The story flowed really well. I love how the relationshp between the two main characters develops as a friendship first. I plan to read more by this author.

I adore this series

This author is amazing to write as well as she does the banter, friendship, romance and action in this series. I pretty much adore the entire team and that last couple of pages! Hahahaha! Brilliant!

Great Book
I really enjoyed this book. Merilee and Sugar were both interesting characters. The flash backs that show Sugar's past help you get invested in her story without taking away from Merilee's current day problems. The friendship between the two really sets this book apart.

Book Favorite

"The character Sula was the first protagonist who made me feel okay with my own non-conformity, with the gray areas, with coloring outside the lines as a multiracial trans kid. Plus, Morrison’s writing about womanhood, convention and the fierce attachment of female friendship is astounding."

This truly delightful tale investigates friendship and loneliness from the humorous perspective of an 81-year-old man, recuperating from his accident with a milk float. Read my revised review of this lovely novel here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/06/09/the-12-days-of-kelly-christmas/

An addictive, thrilling, and delicious read! The Return kept me on the edge of the seat, torn between dread and dangerous curiosity as Elise came closer to the truth about Julie. It's filled with friendship, mystery, and horror. Lots and lots of horror. I freaking loved it.
