"There's a lot of personality to this album. A lot of really funny, sly lyrics. Slyly dirty lyrics. I didn't know Prince Buster whatsoever but a guy I did an interview with in Australia gave me a CDR, it was back when you shared CDRs, and this CDR had a bunch of albums on it, including the first Deerhunter record I ever heard and then this album. I kind of didn't think that any of this music would be good but I imported it anyway and I just started listening and then slowly every now and then something would reveal itself and this was one of the two that really had a huge impact. It's a fun and funny record. It's not heavy but it's very cool. "

Rushmore (1998)

"Rushmore. That must come up a lot. But it’s funny, and I know that the movie Harold and Maude is probably a big influence on that; but I hadn’t seen that when I saw Rushmore. I hadn’t seen anything like it. It’s really funny. I think Wes Anderson is really hilarious and most people don’t notice, because of the style of the film. Grand Budapest Hotel, to me, was the funniest film of the year, but people saw it as an art film. I think I related to Max as well, because I grew up poor like he did, and when I went to University I did feel like I was kind of pretending of fitting in this world. I related to Max."

Aka Alright Now, only watched because Cobie Smulders is very good in @Stumptown and thought this might be funny. Really not sure how this even got released! It's really bad barely a plot to it, the script doesn't have much to it. It's not funny, it feels really amateurish alround. The camera work is very shaky like it was shot on a handheld camcorder. It doesn't really make sense. A fading popstar decides to enroll at a university after breaking up with her band who were good 20 years ago. Slight Rom-com angle to it as well that also just doesn't fit in. Skip this you'll be glad.

Highway to Nowhere
Dead End- is a funny movie, i dont think it was meant to be funny, but some of the comedy comes out of nowhere. Its a excellent horror movie as well.

The Plot: When a family en route to a Christmas Eve gathering decides to takes a shortcut down a wooded road, an eerie sequence of events signals trouble ahead. After nearly colliding with an oncoming car, father Frank (Ray Wise) picks up a ghostly hitchhiker (Amber Smith) and her infant child. With the sudden appearance of their new passengers, the route becomes dark and treacherous -- and the family's numbers rapidly begin to dwindle in a series of seemingly connected, grisly roadside accidents.

Its a excellent horror flick.

I like road trip films. Spot on review. First time I watched it, it came on like a fever dream and although not a perfect film by any standards, it did pull me in. Repeated viewings have been just as enjoyable. Certainly better than most of the pish that was around at this time. At least it tries to do something different.

Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler's chemistry (1 more)
It's such a random storyline it stands out in a competitive film world
Adam Sandler's voice can drive me mad a bit in this. (1 more)
It has some seriously weird plotlines... if you have or will see it you'll know what I mean
Depends on your sense of humour
So this film came up on my suggested films on Netflix and as I love Andy samberg and Adam Sandler, I gave it a go.
Some bits are hysterically funny. Some bits are crude and VERY cringey. It depends on your sense of humour it really does, it's a very rude humoured film. I found it funny, I'd recommend it for those that aren't of a nervous disposition lol.

Fun Adventure
Another film that seemed to pop out of no where. A light hearted comedy adventure film. In a similar mould to @Romancing the Stone (1984) The cast is very good, Daniel Radcliffe seems to have reprised his role from Now you see me 2 as a crazy rich villian in a suit after some ancient treasure in a lost city. So he kidnaps an author of a romance, action book believing her research could hold a clue.
It's pretty silly stuff but it definitely leans more towards the comedy side than anything else and thankfully is genuinely funny and has a a witty script. So if you are looking for a laugh with some funny action scenes thrown in, check this out.

Battle of the Sexes (2016)

Battle of the Sexes breaks little new ground as either a sports film or a lesbian romance, but it’s lively, funny, and, if you’re unlucky enough to be a feminist in 2017, vicariously wish-fulfilling.

Its silly. Its meant to be silly.
The special effects are awful. They are meant to be awful.
Just suspend disbelief for 2 hours and buckle in.
Brilliant, funny yet scary film following a special ops team that get stuck in the Scottish highlands and soon find themselves being hunted by werewolves.
Sean Pertwee is outstanding in this film.
