I think that the author's concept of having clones to donate their organs and basically have no choice in the matter is a dark future that could happen to help cure the sick. I wasn't expecting the ending with a bit of a twist and for all hope for the characters to be able to live to run out.

I received a copy of A Deadly Feast from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Hayley is excited about her upcoming wedding when a woman tragically dies on a food tour. She also has to worry about her broken down future houseboat and her future husband's career.

It's a lot. But thankfully, not too much. Hayley wants to clear the name of a chef and goes about doing so.

Loved it!
I really enjoyed this book. I was pretty much hooked from the first chapter and very much enjoyed the novel take on the Sci Fi "future of the Earth" story.
Very funny, sad, heartwarming all rolled into one. It was a really easy read although occasionally keeping track of the main characters is a tad difficult. The end will also creep up on you and leave you wanting more.
I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy the idea of your average, everyday Joe (called Bob) being thrown into the future at the very deep end!
