A scientifically important series of novellas.
The author makes many predictions of future technology which so far have all come true. He predicted the internet, search engines, handheld smartphone devices, GPS, sentient AI, and many other elements of today's society that he couldn't possibly have known about when this book was written.

never happy to see a series end, however, I really felt like these two were left in a happy and good place. I really enjoy mindy's writing style and I look forward to reading some of her other books. Wish we got to know what Lucy or Lynn's future looked like more than we have already however.

Hooked from the beginning
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Although set in a future, one can see the headline issues of today wrapped up in a complicated film-noir private detective archetype. Something about hard-boiled crime and mystery supported by futuristic tech and commentary on the social elite really pulls me in.

Stephen Fry's straight re-telling of the various Greek Myths, in more-or-less chronological order (well, as much as they can be!), starting from the Titans and going right up to Midas, leaving (I assume) Jason and the Argonauts, or the siege of Troy for future instalments.

A bit like Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology, in other words.

Did not like the story in this second one. It felt very weak. (0 more)

I really liked the first one so I was excited about the second one but I was boring. It felt like i was watching back to the future which was completely different to the first storyline.
