"I think I’m destined to spend the rest of my life screaming from every rooftop that Melodrama is the best album of all time. Lyrically, Lorde is fearless, and every song explores the dark-ass depths of a breakup and the ensuing back-and-forth of feeling everything in extremes. She’s nostalgic, furious, desperate, disoriented, and curious about what the future could look like. Every time I listen to the record, I feel so excited about what pop music might be like in the next decade."

"Alphaville is the New Wave grandfather of Blade Runner: a film that is at once in the past and far in the future. I’m a big Godard fan, and this is one of his great genre deconstructions: effortlessly cool and serious at the same time. Alphaville was my fourth Godard, and I saw it when I was nineteen. He’d already dismantled my mind with Pierrot le fou, Breathless, and Le petit soldat. I wish I could see those Godard films for the first time again."

Great soundtrack
Amazing Spider-Man animation
A great bright, colourful and technical amazing animation film. It's hard to describe the style, quite often a mix, but almost like a 3D comic book at times. The story is good and suits an animated film better and the voice cast is very well chosen. Along with a great soundtrack and plenty of funny moments. I can imagine more films in future taking this visual approach.
Absolutely awesome, go check it out! Currently on Netflix.

Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent by Lewis Capaldi

Hello? Have you heard his songs yet?
Lewis Capaldi is one of those artists you can listen to at anytime. Cleaning the house? Listen to Lewis. Trying to fall asleep? Listen to Lewis. Making food? Lewis freaking Capaldi people! I'm obsessed with his music even though I've never been through a heartbreak and can't actually relate. This album is a proud and honoured member of my Spotify playlist and I'm probably going to use his songs in any major life events I have in the future!

I've been left thinking, "What the hell?" after that ending. I guess I was expecting justice to prevail or something...

I'm not the biggest reader of thrillers but since I like to read books before seeing the film's and mum wants to go and see this later today...I thought I'd read it.

I'm not entirely sure I got it. I'm not going to go into detail as it will spoil it for future readers but WTF? Definitely a bit of a mind-f*ck.
