Game of Thrones Series - Song of Ice and Fire
Great series! I read them all and want more!! Even with the TV show by HBO surpassing the whole series of novels, the books are great! I love the series and this is by far my second try at Fantasy. After Lord of the Rings series I wanted to try these since the Show was so awesome. The books help with the storylines especially knowing who's who in the game of thrones that they play. With the books you are able to understand the characters background and their back stories. I highly recommend the Game of Thrones for more "meat" on thee bones!
Sami (3 KP) rated Wynonna Earp - Season 2 in TV

Demon-fighting, gun-slinging Wonder Woman
Season 1 was great, season 2 takes it to a whole new level. Show runner, Emily Andras, really knows how to make viewers feel all the feels. You'll go from laughing to crying to ready to punch someone in one scene. The amazing actors have definitely brought their A game this season to bring Emily's vision to life. If you like strong female characters, LGBTQ representation, demon fighting, and/or a show that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, this is the show for you.

Game Design Ideas and Suggestions
Always a different topic with a great expert, and does a great job interviewing, Amazing for Game Designers especially for aspiring ones
I love this podcast. I'm a aspiring board game designer with a couple of prototypes but still have a long way to go. It never fails to inspire me to do better and consider things from a different perspective. Gabe does a very nice job selecting experts on the topic from the game world. I'd list the names but they won't mean much if you don't play board games. This is a great show and an amazing resource for us designers.

Daemon is a fantastic host (1 more)
20 questions
Solid knowledge and insight
I have listened to Game scoop for years and every week I know that it will give me a laugh and some great opinions and insights into recent gaming news and events. Marty is always brilliant when he is on the show and I love when the guests play 20 questions and try to guess the listener submitted game. The only downside is Justin Davis, who for some reason is a regular on this show. He is extremely irritating and his taste in games couldn't be further away from my own tastes.

Amazing stories
Sherlock's deduction skills
The game is a foot
A very cool modern setting for the Sherlock character. This has great stories with some very talented actors. I like the way it uses technology in the show as well. Probably one of the BBC most successful shows.

Improved graphics from the original (2 more)
Runs better on the PS4 than on previous generation
Still a fantastic game even after 5 years
Worth playing if you missed out before
Ultimately this is a fantastic game and easily one of the best of the previous generation of consoles and so is 100% worth picking up if you either missed the initial release or are wanting a second round of it on this generation!
Improved graphics and a more powerful console make the game look and perform better than the original and there is still so much to do in this game it that countless hours can be lost to it. Due to its age the price for it is very reasonable with it often being found in sales which makes it a bargain purchase.
As always with Bethesda games there are the typical glitches and odd mechanics or bizarre AI behaviour despite the games age however this doesn't typically detract from an otherwise amazing game.

Sarah (7798 KP) rated 8 Out of 10 Cats Board Game in Tabletop Games

A highly entertaining party game
It's not often that you find a fun trivia game that isn't actually based on what you know, but 8 out of 10 cats really pulls it off.
It manages to replicate the tv show in an easily understandable and fun format, that can be played by all the family. It's not reliant on how smart you are but rather concentrates on your opinions and common sense. It's a great party game to play with multiple teams, it involves everyone and it isn't very long either. The final round (to complete before you are crowned the winner) is quite difficult, but thankfully not enough to make you want to give up in exasperation. Such a fun game.

David McK (3169 KP) rated Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) in Movies
Nov 4, 2021
Direct sequel to 2017s 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle'; itself a quasi remake of the 1995 original updating it to a more modern audience in which the cursed game is now a video game cartridge rather than a boardgame.
Anyway, this mainly follows the same characters as in the previous entry but also introduces a few new 'real life' characters into the mix (portrayed by Danny DeVito and Danny Glover), with those characters then also getting sucked into the game.
As before, most of the comedy comes from watching the in-game characters (still portrayed by Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson) doing imitations of their 'real life' counterparts, with Jack Black again stealing the show with his imitations!

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Game Of Thrones - Season 2 in TV

I LOVE THIS SHOW. This season is dark, funny, thrilling and intelligent. The sheer amount of sex scenes, I'm deducting half a star from a Season that is otherwise perfect.
