Draft Day wants to be the Moneyball of the National Football League. Probem is, Moneyball was based on a true story. Draft Day is pure fiction and it’s not particularly good fiction. Sure, there are realistic elements of what goes on behind the scenes on draft day, but the story that surrounds makes you wonder if this was really the best they could come up with to shine the spotlight on one of the biggest days of the year for football fans and NFL prospects.

Sonny Weaver (Kevin Costner) is a general manager of the Cleveland Browns. Now that’s a real team, although many people would question that fact. Weaver manages to acquire the number one draft pick on draft day and the movie is essentially about him trying to decide who to pick. Focusing on three potential players, Sonny has the heavy responsibility of making the right choice.

In addition to facing this daunting task of making the right decision for his team, Sonny is also wrestling with personal issues, such as a secret girlfriend and living up to his father’s legacy. There are plenty of cameos of stars of the NFL and Roger Goodell weighs in as the NFL commissioner. There were scenes that seemed meaningless in a sense but there’s a twist if you remain interested.

To the casual football fan this might be entertaining. To diehard fans, you probably know most of the goings on behind the scenes on draft day. It’s a backstage view in the day of the life of a GM trying to juggle his way through business and personal decisions on a big stage while facing a ticking clock. The movie does drags here and there but if you need a hit of the NFL drug while waiting for the next season, this might tide you over.

When your in love with a God
If you haven't yet read any Jennifer L Armentrout then your missing out!

Jennifer writing is so easy to get lost in whether your reading her Young Adult, New Adult or General fiction she has the ability to capture the reader better than most authors I've ever read.

The Titan Series is the Sequal to Jennifer Covanant series. If you haven't yet read Covanant please read it especially if you love Greek mythology. Covanant follows a very empowered amazing female lead called Alexandra Andros where as The Return follows Seth.

Seth is an extremely complex and amazing character if you have read the Covanant series you know Seth started out as a egoticial hard man Apolloyon who through the series change due to Alexs influence.

The Return Seth no longer has Alex as his conscious and guide. Seth has to repent for his mid deeds from the covanant series and it doesn't help he suddenly has feeling for his new charge. I love this book a lot not as much as the original Covanant series but it still amazing all the same plus Seth and Apollo arguments egos and bitch fighting can keep me amused for days.

I received this book this time last year as part of an exchange. I figured it is about time I write a review for it, yet I find myself struggling to come up with the right words to describe how I feel.

First I should mention that I love space. Despite this and the fact that I am actually a fairly intelligent human being, I have found that most books written about space, and physic in general, are written at such a high reading proficiency and are jargon heavy to the point that it is more chore to read than anything.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson brings his trademark humor to this novel as well as making it genuinely enjoyable to read. For being a non-fiction book, it certainly did not read like one. Regardless of whether you are a newbie when it comes to space or a seasoned fan, Death by Black Hole is consciously written with an easy almost conservational style that draws the reader in. I personally feel that it opens a lot of doors to those who want to learn but may have difficulty with the language.

I recommend Death by Black Hole to everyone. Literally everyone.
