Ghost in the Shell (this movie) got a ton of vile response when it was announced and released. While the source material differs from this film VERY much, as a standalone movie, Ghost in the Shell is actually quite good.

I'm a big fan and advocate of letting a movie based on anything else (comic book, novel, whatever the case might be) stand as its own entity. Conveniently, this allows me to enjoy a ton of movies that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. This is a classic example of this mentality in action.

Scarlett Johansson does a fine job in her role, regardless of whether people think she should have ever been cast in what is traditionally an Asian role. She doesn't deserve a lot of the hate that she received. She is doing a job that she is being paid to do. Simple as that, the same way that you and I go to work every day and do things we might not be in love with.

Anyway, if you can get over the disconnection from the source material, Ghost in the Shell is an enjoyable experience. The only way to know is to watch for yourself.

Trixie and her friends are visiting Uncle Andrew again, this time in the Ozarks. The gang is hunting for some ghost fish, but they find danger and possibly real ghosts. Trixie isn't at her best here, but the plot is fun.

As with the previous three novels, I really enjoyed how it was written. The plot development was well thought out and the characters had a good amount of dynamics between them. The ghosts were, like all fo the others, infuriating but interesting. I can't wait to see who this new ghost is and what is going to happen with Kylie.

The graphics in this game are really good along with the characters emotions. You'll get lost in. I rate it a 5 out of 10 (0 more)
The voice change from the beginning to end they change the voice of the ghost who showed no emotion to the one that shows emotion. That's where the downfall of this game came in. (0 more)

Don't get me wrong, it did sprout a few tears at her fathers reactions.
But there were times where I thought it could just end right now and it'll be fine, but NOPES it just carried on.
That ending just ruined it all for me though... She's a ghost you can't do that shiz.

"The third of the trinity, and definitely the holy ghost of the analogy. The DKs were more sarcastic, political, and just plain weird—I think East Bay Ray's guitar work is hugely underrated, and they were generally musically more interesting than a lot of their peers. I could have picked any of their records, really, but this one has the classics."

"For when you need a ghost-story romance I just...fell in love with this book. It’s a historical romance set around the restoration of a haunted house with some serious Edith Wharton vibes. But it’s the characters that got me. Our unfairly maligned heroine and our absentminded professor hero are people you can’t help but adore—and root for."
