Ghost of Tsushima

I absolutely loved this game because of the story and side quest stories. The open world exploration for me was incredible and the game is beautiful. I found myself playing with photo mode a lot taking lots of pictures standing in fields of pretty flowers, patting cute foxes, or just standing atop a mountain taking in the amazing view. The combat in the game was fun for me and it wasn't too challenging to figure out which stances to use to gain an advantage. I liked the accessibility of the game with making the subtitles easy to read and having simplified controls. I also liked that you can easily change the difficulty settings on the game. The characters in the game are interesting and I found myself liking all of them because of their interaction with the main character Jin and getting to know them during their side story quests. I could tell where they drew inspiration from Kurosawa films like Seven Samurai and it was very well done. Ghost Of Tsushima overall is a fantastic game and I was impressed with how much thought and detail went into the game. Disavowed: The Downfall
Mission: impossible - Ghost Protocal- is a good movie. Other critics told me that its the best movie out of the franchise, which im like why? Yes the plot is good, the stunts are good, the action is good and tom cruise is good. Other than that i agree with @Dean, @Erika and @Kevin Phillipson. The villian is non excisting, he's their but not really. The side charcters are just their. Simon Pegg is their for comedy, Jemery Renner is their for a side charcter and Paula Patton is their to look hot. Its a downfall, from 3, which is my favorite one and to me, in my opinion is the best one.

The plot: Blamed for a terrorist attack on the Kremlin, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the entire IMF agency are disavowed by the U.S. government, while the president initiates the Ghost Protocol. Forced to go "off the grid" -- left without resources or backup -- Hunt must somehow clear the agency's name and prevent another attack. Complicating matters even more, Ethan must undertake the impossible mission with a group of fellow IMF fugitives whose actual motives are suspect.

Hopefully 5 and 6 are better. Just have to wait and find out.

I really enjoyed MI:GP, I agree that most of the cast were more like plot fillers rather than plot points (at this point) but knowing that a threat that couldn't be seen was essentially winning was rather edgey, similar to that of the movie phonebooth.
This to me was a great starter point for a new chapter.

Although there very enjoyable, the movies...they've become very....splinter cell.

An interesting view of Islamophobia and muslims living in the UK.
The story of a Muslim family living in London, persecuted by the ghost of their jihadi father. Narrated by five protagonists, who express five different views on today's attitudes of being Muslim in a western country: (non) respect towards religions, the traditional vs modern, what it means to be a Muslim in today's world, and in particular, it's the story of stigmatisation. An interesting, topical story that shows our diverse world, and how we MUST look at what is causing radicalisation.
One of my books of the year.

I do like this film, i would not rush to watch it again however. I feel this is a one time watch enjoyment, not the kind of film you can watch on repeat.
It was very dramatic and powerful with great scenes, but something was missing.

A Kafkaesque bittersweet ghost story
For a first novel, Luke Smitherd has done himself justice bringing together classic existentialism, quite literally, with a touch of magical realism. An incredibly interesting concept discussing the in between phase of purgatory and reincarnation and how as humans, we cease to function without the basic notion of togetherness wrapped up in as easy to follow narrative.

While there were a few holes in terms of lack of character development for the the few people in the plot, the author performed his book well and it held together in the end.

After reading Setterfield's @Bellman & Black, I was excited to read this novel. I was so completely disappointed. I HATE Flowers in the Attic type crap, and I nearly stopped reading. I have no idea why the trope of incest is still used, but it's annoying and so pedestrian.
The Gothic ghost-story is what I stayed for, but, then again, anti-climactic. The whole twin thing started to grate on my nerves, I get that it was a big part of the book, but the main character doesn't have to mention it every single time she narrates.

I have been binge watching this with my mom and we both love the show. I'd heard from a few friends that the pacing is too slow and while I can see what they're talking about, I don't agree. I find the flashbacks and the ghost easter eggs as well as the ways the storylines are being brought together to be very satisfying. I really like that while it has them, it doesn't rely on jumpscares. The acting is hit or miss, but the main cast are all very talented. I would definitely recommend watching it, especially if you prefer old school horror.

An very good cast, a good idea but a poor-ish execution only make this an ok thriller. I had high hopes for a lot more but the title alone really gives any idea of a twist away right from the start which was annoying. Hugh Jackman was very good in his role I thought and there are some appearances from Natasha Henstridge (Species, Ghost of Mars) and Maggie Q (Die Hard 4). However it is all too straight forward to work out if you have seen any decent thriller before. Ok for a look but nothing special, you might prefer Derailed instead.

This book did not disappoint in any way. It was just amazing as the two others in this series. The Castle Lighthouse and The Fakerville Power Station were catching as the third installment.

The Font family consist of Edgar, Audrey and Garrett Font. The Fonts get a mysterious package delivered to them. They encounter a young ghost, who strongly needs their help. They must piece together clues and break the ancient spell. If they fail, they could be trapped forever. They meet up with an unexpected foe of Edgar. Can the Fonts break the spell and find the treasure? I strongly recommend it.
