Thought provoking and sometimes scary as hell!
I love this podcast. Paranormal investigators, Dave and Tim talk over all topics from ghost to aliens, cryptids and everything in between. Weekly they do a Supernatural News and Parashare episode that is one of the highlights of my podcast feed. Other episodes are very topic driven and guest driven. Make sure you give it at least 3 episodes to decide if you like it or not.

Enjoyable watch
Some secret won't remain buried....because you need to bury them.
A mother and her four kids emigrate from the United Kingdom to America to escape her evil husband. Sadly the mother dies shortly after moving and the kids fend for themselves, keeping it secret she's gone.
The father finds them, but they fend him off....but a ghost seems to be bothering them.
It was an interesting movie to watch and I have to admit I didn't see the twist coming....I think the tagline was quite misleading though.

A decent film
I was really looking forward to this after watching @The Conjuring 2 (2016) which was genuinely creepy. Which introduced us to the Nun character. Unfortunately this doesn't quite create the same atmosphere of that film. Mainly going for jump scares. Which for me were predictable, the guy next to me jumped quite a bit though.
It was still an enjoyable film and links nicely to the Conjuring universe. Maybe if it was an 18 rating it would be scarier and less like a ghost story. Overall a good back story if a slightly missed opportunity.

Scarily good
I like scary movies. I watched the first episode and wasn't sure I could watch any more because it was scary. I kept watching and ended up binge watching the entire series. Although its a ghost story, I realised there was more to it. It's about the characters and their flawed personalities and relationships. There's actually so much going on that you may even miss a lot of interesting or scary bits, so don't hide behind the cushion.
I enjoyed it emensly and I'm sad it's finished because it really was very very good.

Andrew Kennedy (199 KP) rated The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) in Movies

I love the Muppets.
This film is the best of many retellings of Dickens classic ghost tale.
Gonzo is my favourite as Charles Dickens, his narration along with Rizzlo the rat is humorous and fun.
Kermit as Bob Crachit as the lead book keeper is amusing and his team of rats are hilarious.
Michael Caine plays Scrooge who's path of redemption is believable as he is visted by three ghosts who show Scrooge the errors of his ways.
Also, the songs are catchy.
Disney tried other versions but none can top this one. A true Christmas classic to watch every year.
