"A Prophet is a film that I saw a few years back now. That completely blew my mind, and I thought that could have easily been quite… Not cheesy; cheesy is the wrong word. They have this sort of ghost and kind of have this supernatural element of it in places. I feel that it could easily kind of be done to a point that it takes me out of the story, but I think they handled it so beautifully and subtly. The madness of it being in the prison system. I thought it was a really gritty, real film. I thought that the performances, in fact, were just wonderful. Very gritty. A Prophet, it’s a strange film. Yeah, it’s really a great film."

Spooky Scary Ghost
The Frighteners- is a excellent horror comedy directed by Peter Jackson. Micheal J. Fox is excellent in it.

The plot: Once an architect, Frank Bannister (Michael J. Fox) now passes himself off as an exorcist of evil spirits. To bolster his facade, he claims his "special" gift is the result of a car accident that killed his wife. But what he does not count on is more people dying in the small town where he lives. As he tries to piece together the supernatural mystery of these killings, he falls in love with the wife (Trini Alvarado) of one of the victims and deals with a crazy FBI agent (Jeffrey Combs).

Its a excellent underrated horror comedy. Highly recordmend.

This is a very cute indie game where you play as a little mouse Tilo who is a bard. The story starts with him in a jail cell on a prison island. The story explores why Tilo is there and ways for him to escape the island to find his wife who was separated from him. The game is all stealth which is interesting making you plan out strategies on how not to be seen by enemies. Sometimes the quests are a little tedious with the constant backtracking and lack of information, but the story is well written and the game is so charming I didn't mind so much. It was an interesting take on ghost stories, certainly one I've never read before--or that I think I have...though the Charley Davidson series is kinda like it, I guess.

I was drawn in early on and although Alona was a little annoying at the start I have to say she'd grown on me (and Will) by the end. Will was just different from the start, not wanting to be popular and unable to be even if he wanted to with his ability to the see the dead.

The possibility of a romance between these two and moving to college makes me want to read the next one in the series and I'll be hunting it out from somewhere at some point in the future.
