This movie is fairly gruesome as would be expected but I found quite a few scenes hard to stomach (and I'm no stranger to gore). The opening scene is a preview to the depravity and traumatic contents of the movie. The storyline itself was not awful but the graphic nature and a general lack of answers made it seem more like a gore for the sake of gore movie. Probably wouldnt watch again.

Minimal cheap gore
The only good one. After this, the torture porn genre began with the cheap gore and poor writing. I watched Saw when it was first released not knowing any of the twists and was pleasantly surprised upon its conclusion.
