Watched today as a sequel to the orignal candyman its probably better than the previous sequels which I've never and probably won't cause I hear they aren't as good. Anyway to the movie itself it has plenty of gore so that ticked that box and one scene stood out for me group of college girls make the mistake of saying his name five times big mistake good acting performances from both the leads. There's some photography especially of Chicago which stand out for me. Overall good sequel which is worthy follow up to the orignal

A run of the mill modern day slasher film. Plenty of gore and gorgeous girls but the story is a bit lame and wanders off back into the past quite alot. Could have been a lot better, but it's enjoyable for fans of the genre.

A strange debut horror story for Guillermo del Toro. It has a certain charm to it, bringing a new idea to a vampire tale. Character driven rather than over the top shock and gore. Still it looks rather dated now due to the low budget.

Watched last night on Disney + new adult section star I thought it was okay for a creature feature movie could have done with a bit more gore a d less cheesy lines but overall decent movie I will be reviewing more star content soon

The effects
Love this movie just for the effects which are amazing the makeup too on the old lady amazing for once a horror that realises more on scares and effects than gore and Alison lohman gives a good performance thruout the movie

My entire family loved this movie. It was great to hear cussing, see blood, guts, and gore. A sweet romance that didnt lead to sex within the first day meeting eachother. It was also amazing to see Zac Efron in this type of role again.
