As good as the original
I had reservations when going to watch this as Blumhouses output has been patchy so far; also I love the black and white Claude Raines version as well.
No worries needed. The story is gripping m, brilliantly told from another angle and all those lingering camera shots of nothing (!?!) are so well done. Finally Elizabeth Moss was outstanding.
Nuff said, go watch

Better than I thought it would be.

I came across this as just a mean to watch any film one night. Shockingly I enjoy it and liked how at the end his family shared certain attributes of his powers which then lead me to research it more and got to say am looking forward to the next one. Action scenes were gripping and story line was quite good too

I just couldn't put it down...
Another fantastic novel in the Robert Hunter series.
Spine-tingling, gripping thriller which will keep you turning the page over and over. I honestly could not out it down. I was so immersed in the storyline.
They way the story is written makes you feel part of the plot. You feel so involved.
Will have you dying to read the next one...

Teen Wolf - Season 1
Season 1 of this American TV series is just the start of Scott McCall's journey in the life of being a teenage werewolf. It is filled with action, romance and comedy- brilliant for those who love to watch fantasy related programmes. The first season of this incredible series also includes a lot of mystery and attention gripping moments throughout the episodes. I highly reccomend this series!!

Couldn't put it down
Just closed the covers and really hope someone will read my review and read this. If historical Romances are your thing I think this one will be one for you!
It's such an easy book to get into. I read about 100 pages in one go and finished it quicker than most books I read.
I just found the story compelling, gripping and inspiring. It's not your typical romance, as the romance side is more on the back burner (I'd still put it in the Historical Romance category) and it's more about independence, hard work, determination, women's struggles in that era, friendship and family values. It's not often I find a book I don't see one fault with so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. It's not a 10 as I save my ten for my utmost favourites, although this is blummin' close.

The ensemble cast: outstanding (1 more)
An intelligent and often uncomfortable script
Gripping study of racism in small-town america
Flighty artist Mia (Kelly Washington) moves into the picture-perfect community of Shaker Heights Ohio with her daughter Pearl (Lexi Underwood) and is welcomed by busybody mum Elena (Reese Witherspoon). But as racial tensions, teenage passions and secrets from the past emerge, a pressure-cooker of tension builds.
This is an outstanding drama in the mould of Big Little Lies, and equally supported by an outstanding cast. Kerry Washington is Emmy nominated and justly so. But equally impressive is the young cast, particularly Lexi Underwood as Pearl and Megan Stott, who has a magnetic screen presence as Izzy and who I would predict great things for.
It’s a script that buzzes with uncomfortable racial tensions in these days of Black Lives Matters, and is gripping to the end.
I just hope that - unlike Westworld - they call it a day with this one perfect series.
