Gripping and dry
What I love about Jane Harper's books is the biggest character is always the landscape the story takes place in. Force of nature is set in one of Australia's cold and dark national parks, rugged and unforgiving and so the atmosphere is set. Take office politics up a notch to a brutal level and add intriguing and constant suspense and you will find it difficult to not read just another chapter. If you like crime novels Harper's and human and most importantly believable. Won't get a better thriller/crime novel this year

I loved The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns and was not disappointed with And The Mountains Echoed. Hosseini is a masterful writer whose storytelling is arresting, captivating and spellbinding. Each of the stories in this book are beautiful. It is a particularly admirable skill to write stories that are so thought-provoking, but are still gripping and compelling. The themes of family, what makes us human, the beautiful personal perspectives and the evocative locations of the stories all combine to make this book immensely rich and hugely enjoyable. Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief review
This book is such an amazing, attention gripping story about the adventure of half blood Percy Jackson. The link between the real world and the fantasy world of Greek mythology makes this novel stand out amongst others, it makes the whole plot of the story much more exciting as well as being educational about Greek beliefs in mythology.
