A pretty decent thriller if all a tad too obvious, not too mention just slightly bizarre?! Very gory, gruesome in places bearing in mind the title. Ok for a watch once but far from great.

Gritty, hardcore action.
Pretty gruesome, but needed to portray the reality of war.
Easy Company - a bunch of guys facing the horror of war.

Honestly, this was a lot better than I expected. It was gruesome and, though part of the paranormal romance genre, quite intelligent and unpredictable. Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the next in the series.

This debut novel was a weird and gruesome read that kept me its prisoner until the bitter end. I was completely enthralled with the portrayal of Lizzie Borden. The author's writing style was truly a delight and I look forward to more of her works.

Typical teen horror film, again with another cool opening to the film. Lots of inventive, gruesome deaths. One thing that was different on the DVD you could choose the order at key moments to decide if someone was saved or not.

Not just an analysis or a rather gruesome murder, but a wider look at the social context of the times and the role of the detective in fact and in fiction.

Personally, I enjoyed this, but thought The Wicked Boy by the same author was even better.

This one on Netflix surprised me! The acting was good(Patrick Stewart as a villain!) and the cinematography was well done. The story played out well but had quite a few gruesome scenes(not for the kiddies). Overall this movie was well made and is definitely worth a watch!

A very gory and funny horror comedy. For a low budget the gore effects are good, gruesome and it's generally quite funny most of the time. You'll never think of sheep the same way again! If you liked Shaun of the Dead give this a go.

"This is my most wanted Criterion Blu-ray upgrade (pretty please!!!). A gruesome yet hilarious mockumentary about a serial killer and the film crew that slowly crosses the line from reel to real with him. Picture David Brent from The Office starring in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer."
