The trailer looked great. And I know it's a thriller so it is meant to keep viewers on the edge of their seat but the guys sat next to me voiced out loud what I was thinking: "if he does't kill her soon, I'm leaving."
There's a lot of moments where you think something is going to happen, and then it doesn't. Too many of these moments.
The acting was good but it was a slow build to an alright ending.

Known as "How I spent my summer Vacation" in the UK?! A strange and quirky film set in a Mexican prison, which feels more like a mini city full of bad guys. This didn't get much hype, and I didn't know what to expect which possibly made me like it a bit more. It feels a bit gritty and rough around the edges compared to a lot of Mel Gibson's films, but it was still a decent watch if nothing spectacular. Reminded me of Payback a little.

The conclusion to the Sisters Grimm series finds Sabrina and Daphne leading the good guys in a fight to take out The Master once and for all. Can they succeed? The book is dark at times, but we are fighting a war here. Fans of the series will certainly enjoy seeing how it ends, although if you aren't familiar with the series, start at the beginning.

Lacking something to keep it from greatness
The characters were all right. Humor was there. Generic plot I thought that dragged at times. Nothing really special and just kind of going through the motions.

The bad guys were sort of generic, maybe supposed to be this way, not quite sure. II'm not the biggest fan of generic CGI movies anyways; although I did just get a new TV so it looks amazing/fantastic.

Probably in the bottom third of the MCU.

"I first saw This Is Spinal Tap when I was seven or eight, and it totally changed my life. This was comedy. This was how you performed comedy. It gave me a leg up at an early age. The Criterion disc is a must because they do commentary out of character. Listening to those three guys talking about how they created and related to these characters, how they approached scenes, and where the inspiration for each scene came from taught me a lot. Thanks, Criterion!"

I've spent the last week or so reading this series and this one has taken me the longest. I don't normally do so well reading one book after the other in a series but with this, i had to. I needed to know if they could bring the bad guys down and get their HAE, and they did, it just took a long time.

I'm interested in reading more books by the author to see if they're as addictive as this series has been.

I kickflipped out of the wheelchair, after watching Don't Worry He Won't Get Far on Foot, onto a skateboard and rolled into Mid 90's; written and directed by Jonah Hill. A great snapshot of a kid in the 90's who is at that age where you're really finding yourself. We follow Stevie a.k.a. Sunburn who, in an effort to escape his life at home, befriends some guys at the local skate shop and finds a love for skateboarding and his newfound brotherhood.
