Just rewatched this and was amazed by how well the special effects held up. I enjoyed going down memory lane and seeing Gary England on the TV (even if it was for like 2 seconds).
The film tells a slightly accurate if over exaggerated story about weather chasers. Some of the acting is over the top, and a few of the scenes are incredulous (like the flying cow, but that has happened before) with the main characters evading being killed and the plot gets a bit lost as they focus more on the tornadoes and the destruction they can cause. Love it or hate to like it, it's a disaster movie through and through that highlights the power and suddenness of the twister.

I don't know what it is about this movie that I just didn't like. It just wasn't my favorite, and literally every single person I've talked to says they love it and it's so great. I guess I just don't see it? I felt like the last hour of the movie was just redundant and somewhat useless. I found Jamie Foxx's character just annoying and unlikeable. I think Kerry Washington is phenomenal and I wish she would've gotten more screen time. I liked Leo's character because he was the "bad guy" and you don't often see Leo in a role like that.

I don't know. I just didn't really like this film. I didn't hate it. I just don't really care for it.

I found this podcast years ago and it didn't have all the episodes then. But now I just finished it and it was amazing! There was a good amount of drama to action. The story keeps you guessing about what's going to happen next. The story does a good job at making you hate and love characters. Also the voice actors are amazing!
Only struggle I had was near the end conversations felt rushed sometimes and at other times it was hard to hear what other people were saying. Overall an amazing podcast for the zombie/apocalypse enthusiast.
