Awesome geekiness!

This is awesome, fun, sensitive and moving. Watching a budding romance and the trials of two beautiful people is heart warming.
It's great seeing the family dynamics and the problems that Roxie and Melody encounter. The resilience they show is inspiring to say the least.
I'm loving this LGBTQ story, packed with geekiness, boardgames and a love of horror movies. I started to fall in love from the first page....I'm thrilled that it's the start of a series, I can't wait for the next installment

Dysfunctional and heart-warming
Read this before I made the decision to watch the movie, and I certainly enjoyed the book more (although the movie was not a bad one). The more I read the book, the more I was hooked, (possibly because it was quite a heavy read, and I wanted to finish it, again not because I dislike it). Many of the characters are likeable, and the material was well written.
A coming of age story of a young man beginning high school with the emotional and mental baggage of his traumatic childhood. Charlie was an unusual main lead, appearing quite odd at times and very emotional. He made friends with Sam and Patrick, and the relationship was heart warming if not a little dysfunctional.
My rating of the book, did not quite give it the max rating, as I felt after I had finished reading, I was left a little confused, and with a number of unanswered questions. At times throughout the novel, I kept thinking the next chapter will be the big reveal, but that chapter never came.
I can see why it has the following it has, went mainstream and has remained popular, but not a book I aim to reread anytime soon.

This is the second book in this series by this author. This is a nice quick read for these dark nights. This book has some emotional moments which may bring a tear to your eyes. The characters are fantastic and you just fall in love with them as you read. The chemistry between the characters is definitely hot. This story is so lovely and heart warming, I just couldn't put it down till I'd finished it. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
Highly recommended

Lilo & Stitch (2002)
Lilo & Stitch (2002)

Lolo & Stitch is one of my favorite Disney movies and even though it is mentioned a lot.. Or well Stitch is I still feel like it's a really under rated movie.

The movie is such a heart warming family movie with some of Disney's best characters... I'm talking about Nani she is one of the most underrated characters Disney has ever made in my opinion.

One of my favorite things about it is that doesn't really have a romantic storyline at all it's in the background and it is about makeing your own family and it's just so dang sweet.

When fanfic become real fic
This story started life as a Once Upon A Time fan fiction celebrating the love story that was Robin & Regina and now it’s has transcended the world of fanfic and made it to the pages of a real live book.
Be warned this story may give you cravings for more than baked good.
For anyone that ships Out Law Queen then you need to read this to celebrate the dedication of one of their most gifted fanfic shippers

Oh my goodness! What an amazing book & knowing that it is all true just makes it that much more fascinating. This family is amazing & their story could inspire anyone to want to give it all they've got.
As a teacher who is continually put under more & more pressure to get my students to pass a test, this book was heart warming. It speaks to the true heart of teaching & learning. The theme of the book is to set a high ceiling for anyone & let their passions direct them. If & when this is done, you will marvel at the results. This is sooooo true!! I've been privileged enough to see this within in my own classroom. It just leaves me wondering what kind of "genius" all this emphasis on "high stakes" testing is stifling within our society at this very moment... What a shame!

A heart-warming, light read
I am a fan of Maeve Binchy and A Week in Winter did not disappoint.
The story begins with Chicky Starr and her idea of setting up a B&B in a small coastal town of western Ireland. With the help of a few of her friends and family, her dreams become a reality and she soon welcomes her first guests.
The story continues to detail the reasons behind each of the guests stay at Stone House. I was eager to learn the cicumstances of each guest and how their situation improved upon staying at Stone House for that week in winter.
