I really enjoyed reading this book. A brave young girl caught up in the horror of her surroundings and seeking refuge in the pages of 8 books, which she carries around in a secret pocket under her dress when dispatching them to teachers. I felt my younger self could relate to Dita in the way she thinks and her love of those 8 books. A very heart warming book amidst the hell of Auschwitz.

This is the second book by this author that I've read and they just keep getting better and better. This is a heart warming and heart breaking love story, that will have you hooked from the first page. This author has a fab way of writing that you will just fall in love with. The characters are so well written, you feel every emotion along with them. Be sure to have the tissues at the ready cause you will definitely need them. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

This book made me chuckle aloud. It had heart warming, sometimes eye rolling moments and love.

As Elise's brothers best friend, and team mate, Elise is very much off limits to Justin, but their mutual attraction and long harboured crushes might just be worth the risk. A drunken night leads to a secret relationship with the potential to change everything.

This light hearted, steamy read is an instant page turner. The characters are likeable, the dialogue is far from cheesy and the hot moments are HOT!

As a sports romance lover, I would recommend to anyone with similar reading tastes.

It: Chapter Two (2019)

Throughly enjoyed
This film definitely lived up to my expectations. It makes you love the characters more and manages to keep all the charm from the first. Admittedly it wasn't as scary as I expected, but made up for it in creep and emotional nostalgia. Watching all the adults confront the core essence of their fears was heart warming, and some of the metaphors were exceptionally clever. Loved Stephen King's cameo too, made me smile. Need to read that book now!

A good read for any liverpool fan
When you think of the dominant Liverpool team of the eighties too often Steve Nicol does not get a mention. When you consider that in his time there he won the league five times, europe, the f.a,cup and also played as a pivotal part of the Scotland squad this seems surprising. This book tells the story of this unsung hero, from his start at ayr all the way to his managerial succeses in the USA. Its touching and funny. His recollection of the hillsborough tragedy is both honest and heart felt. A very good read.

Oh my goodness, the acting performances in this film are simply amazing, especially Sophie Nelisse who plays Liesel. I was simply blown away by her, utterly mesmerising. I have read the book but that was many years ago and so only have a very vague recollection of what happened. The movie is not rushed so may be deemed slow by some watchers but I thought it was perfect. It allows you to absorb everything. Heart-warming and a seemingly truthful tale of life during wartime.
