Fantastic turn from Gary Oldham
This is a very fascinating story about Churchill and a hugely interesting film. Gary Oldman's performance deserves all of the hype, he's almost unrecognisable and he really convinces both with the serious, vulnerable and numerous sides to Churchill. Indeed the film itself shows a different vulnerable side to Churchill that I never knew existed and it was nice to see. My knowledge on this part of history is lacking, so I found the wartime politics really interesting. The supporting cast do well and the dialogue is brilliant.
But the dialogue is the problem with this film too as it's far too dialogue heavy. They throw in a few bits of action and humour, but it doesn't quite break the dialogue heavy scenes. Which I found made the film drag a little and I think they could've cut parts out without being of a detriment to the story.
Worth seeing for Oldman's performance alone, although not one I'd necessarily rush to see again.

Excellent narration, beautiful story and complex character development, and a surprising twist near the end of the book.
This book deals with some heavy psychological stuff, and really got me thinking. I was very involved in the characters lives and development, and I was very satisfied with the way the story ended. As long as you can handle some slightly intense scenes, any fan of thrillers and psychological stories will enjoy this book!

I like this game. It is fun and unique. The dark humor makes my friends and I laugh every time we play. It can be a bit "attack heavy" (the goal is to create a family but other players are killing off your family members- or entire families) so be aware of that. My game group doesn't tend to do well with more attack-y games so it doesn't get played much.

Books Everywhere!
No more heavy books to lug when traveling! I have been a Kindle aficionado since 2010, and while I still buy books (what true book hound doesn’t?), it’s definitely a smaller number than before. Kindle Unlimited is a worthwhile $10/month for me as I average about 20 books per month or more. I can read on my phone, tablet, or computer. Love Kindle!

I LOVE this book. I have read it so many times that it has LITERALLY fallen apart. The race is a thrill and watching Wade outsmart the other gunters is fantastic. Even descriptions that could have been boring were crafted with the right amount of detail and experience, allowing readers like me to get the details but those who aren't as game-heavy to get to the meat of the plot. Well done!

Portrayal of successful businesswoman in Selma Hayak (even though she's painted as the villain) (2 more)
Non standard story, and a very non-standard story-arc
Alexander Skarsgård - different role for him... great dance moves!
Engineering Porn with His Cousin Vinny.
A curious oddity of a film with a non-traditional story and an interestingly different story arc. One to really like if you are into heavy machinery, drilling rigs and electronics!
