Rollercoaster ride
A rollercoaster through time and spirit!
This glorious piece of fiction isn't so much a flowing, chronological novel as it is a series of stories with little life lessons and morals throughout.. Witty and dark with an easygoing take on a heavy spiritual topic akin to Tom Robbins or Vonnegut, this is a must-read both for the rollercoaster ride of adventure but also for some thought-provoking spiritual qualms.

This was a fun book to read and it had some different twists on the typical romance. The characters were well developed and all fit together. I need to read some of the authors previous works since I loved the characters so much and apparently they are intoduced in earlier works. I would classify this as a good beach read since it is not heavy topics but it is not fluff either. It is just a well written story.

For many people (myself included) Sylvester Stallone is most associated with one of two characters: either the heavy weight boxer Rocky Balboa, or one-man army John Rambo.

This is his third outing as that latter character, becoming involved in the Afghan war against brutal Soviet invaders when his old army Colonel is captured following an undercover mission.

Yes, this is the one that provides the plot relentlessly lampooned in Charlie Sheen's Hot Shots part Deux.

Beautiful mythological tale of perseus saving a princess through battling many a trial.
The effects although great for their time have suffered greatly although the Harryhausen style will always command respect from those in the know.
It's a great fantasy movie where you can forget your issues and bathe in one of the classics that hands down beats the hell out of the CGI heavy remake. One for kids and adults that never really gets old.
